SZA had a fantastic year in 2017 and the rewards are still to rolling in. Her hit studio album CTRL is so popular that it is the top 3 pick on many lists this end of the year along with label-mate Kendrick Lamar. CTRL debuted No.3 on the Billboard 200 on top five Grammy nominations. Besides these accomplishments, the 28-year old singer now has another accomplishment to add to her list and it’s her first No. 1 single, “The Weekend” on the Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart. This is the first No. 1 on the Hot R&B Songs chart list since Rihanna‘s “Needed Me” in 2016. Congratulations SZA!
