Rihanna’s huge 30th birthday was this Tuesday, February 20th, and she certainly celebrated all her success in life. Instead of focusing the day on herself, she focused it on her mother Monica.
Rihanna posted a really cute and loving Instagram post you can view here:
She wrote:
“10958 days ago @monica_fenty became a mother for the first time to her only daughter! Today is just as much your birthday as it is mine! I love you mom! Thank you for carrying me, birthing me, raising me, supporting me, teaching me, and loving me unconditionally! The woman I am today is because of everything that you are!
I thank God for perfectly hand picking you to be my mother when He sent my spirit to you! You are the greatest! Thank you! #💕”
This was so cheesy, but you gotta show some love for your mother. Can you imagine giving birth to Rihanna? You would feel like you hit the jackpot. I would be very proud of being the Anti singer’s mother.
Her mother also had something to say in her Instagram post:
I’m going to cry, little Rihanna looks so cute as a kid. I wonder what she was known for in school? Probably being the coolest girl in Kindergarten I assume.
Rihanna’s younger brother also wanted to get in on the Instagram action:
I would be writing in all caps too! She’s only 30 and one of the biggest stars in the game. He probably doesn’t have to work anymore.
Although Rihanna did dedicate the day to her mother, she was also seen celebrating.
Check out her Instagram posts at her party here:
All this endearment made followers feel so much love for this family.
But abusive ex boyfriend Chris Brown couldn’t stand seeing Rihanna recieve all this praise.
He posted something himself:

Oh Chris Brown, can’t you just realize that no one cares about you anymore.
This Tweet explained all my thoughts perfectly:
Chris Brown is that ex that don’t know how to let go

Overall it seems like Rihanna had a great 30th birthday and she deserves it. I wish you well Rih-Rih, and I hope this year inspires your next work.
