Thursday morning began the Senate Judiciary Committee’s hearing of Brett Kavanaugh’s first accusor, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford. Dr. Ford recounted in graphic detail how when she was 15, a then 17-year-old Kavanaugh attempted to sexually assault her at a party. This hearing is coming in preparation of the Senate’s vote to confirm Kavanaugh into the Supreme Court.

Time’s Up and #MeToo advocate Alyssa Milano was in attendance during today’s hearings. She was a guest od Senator Dianne Feinstein. However, multiple celebrities have taken to social media to express not only their belief in Dr. Ford’s account, but to thank her for her bravery in coming forward.

Following the testimony by both Kavanaugh and Dr. Ford, the Senate Judiciary will vote on Friday as to whether or not Kavanaugh will be appointed into the United States Supreme Court.
