Khabib-McGregor Will Happen

A super showdown between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor at UFC 229 is official after both fighters made weight at Friday’s morning weigh-ins.

Khabib Nurmagomedov (26-0, 10-0 MMA) looking to defend his UFC lightweight title for the first time would step on the scales at 155 lbs.

His challenger, Conor McGregor (21-3, 9-1 UFC) — making his first UFC appearance since November 2016 — would tip the scales at 154.5 lbs.

Tony Ferguson, who last fought at UFC 216 last October and is coming off knee injury, weighed in at 155 lbs.

Anthony Pettis, who last fought at UFC 223 when he submitted Michael Chiesa in Round 2, weighed in at 156 lbs.
