Headliner for UFC Fight Night 139 Set
The UFC will return to the city where it all began 25 years ago as “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung (14-4, 4-1 UFC) collides with Yair Rodriguez (11-2, 6-1 UFC) in a five-round featherweight main event matchup at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.
After Friday morning’s weigh-ins, fans will be treated to that exciting matchup as both fighters were cleared after making weight.
Chan Sung Jung, making his first appearance since February 2017 when he finished Dennis Bermudez by 1st-Round KO, stepped onto the scales reaching the featherweight limit as he weighed in at 146. His opponent, Yair Rodriguez, tipped the scales at 145.5 pounds.
A highly anticipated welterweight matchup between Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and heavy hitter Mike Perry was also green lighted as Cerrone weighed in at 170, while Perry weighed in at 170.5.
Two fighters would miss weight as both Raquel Pennington and Maycee Barber failed to reach the bantamweight and strawweight limits respectively.
Here are the full weigh-in results.
