Embattled Coach Not Fired Day After Humiliating Jets Loss
In a shock to anyone who attended yesterday’s massacre at MetLife Stadium, Todd Bowles is still wearing a headset for the New York Jets.
Following a 41-10 loss at home to the lowly Buffalo Bills, Gang Green nation were vehemently calling for the firing of the embattled coach who fell to 23-35 as Jets coach yesterday.
Bowles is still here, and that’s not sitting well with fans of the New York Jets.

After going 5-11 two straight seasons, and now starting out a season 3-7 I do not understand how Bowles isn’t fired already. With the jets schedule for the rest of the year, I see them going towards at best another 5-11 season making it 3 straight seasons with the same losing

Todd Bowles was hired back in January 2015 by the New York Jets and went 10-6 in his first season as head coach after being a successful defensive coordinator for two seasons in Arizona.
Since then, he’s gone 13-29, with his latest loss being an embarrassing one to a team starting their fourth quarterback of the season.
While there is some thought going into not firing a coach at this juncture, Bowles doesn’t belong anymore and Jets fans will be letting the organization know that when opposing teams take over MetLife Stadium over their final three home games of the season.
The New York Jets (3-7) have a bye week and will host the New England Patriots two weeks from now at MetLife Stadium.
