Good Guy Peterman Given Well Wishes From Bills Mafia

With the return of rookie quarterback Josh Allen looming, the Buffalo Bills made a decision that brought a sense of grief to most Bills fans.

The Buffalo Bills parted ways with second-year quarterback Nathan Peterman on Tuesday as the team will go forward with Josh Allen, Matt Barkley and Derek Anderson on the depth chart.

Buffalo Bills fans were classy in his release.

Peterman in just eight games in which he started only four, had a propensity of turning the football over. He threw 12 interceptions to just three touchdowns, including a five interception first half against the Los Angeles Chargers last season.

Most of all, those interceptions came in just 130 passing attempts, a sign that the 2017 fifth-round draft pick was not a NFL caliber quarterback, let alone good enough to warrant being on a NFL roster.

Just last week former Bills quarterback E.J. Manuel took to Instagram to mock Buffalo for having Peterman still on the roster with a job.

“I usually never open up about my situation in Buffalo, but the fact that this guy has had multiple games with 4-plus interceptions … and I still don’t have a job in the league? Unreal. Say what you want about me, but never have I ever done that.”

The Buffalo Bills are coming off a 41-10 victory over the New York Jets last Sunday.

They will enjoy a bye week before hosting the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12.
