“The Predator Gets Back On Track”

That didn’t take long.

Francis Ngannou (12-3, 7-2 UFC) defeated Curtis Blaydes (10-2, 5-2 UFC) by 1st-Round TKO on Saturday morning at the Cadillac Arena in Beijing to bounce back from a two-fight losing streak.

After being gun shy in his previous bout, Ngannou wasted little time here as he used a hard overhand right shot over the top of his jabbing opponent to floor him before pouncing on him with a number of punches before Marc Goddard jumped in to stop the bout in just 45 seconds.

“The Predator” came in searching to find his former self after dropping his only two UFC fights in his last two outings, which included a one-sided five-round unanimous decision loss to Stipe Miocic and a much forgettable unanimous decision loss to Derrick Lewis.

Having finished all six of his UFC opponents in his victories coming in, that avenue of victory was once again on display here.

The Cameroonian slugger has the power to put any man down in the heavyweight division. Seeming to fall off the face of the earth after much hype earlier this year, the 32-year-old is hoping this victory is the start of him resurrecting what was once more than a promising UFC career that saw him on the precipice of a UFC world title.
