Ariana Grande has officially made billboards history. According to ‘’Popsugar’’, she has officially matched a chart record previously achieved by The Beatles. This huge accomplishment was thanks to her new album, ‘’Thank You Next’’. Furthermore, she made history by occupying the top three spots on the Hot 100 chart with her latest singles ‘Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored’’, ‘’7 Rings’’, and ‘’Thank You, Next’’.
The Beatles were the last band to achieve this record back in 1964. When they controlled the charts with songs such as ‘’ Can’t Buy Me Love’’, ‘’Twist and Shout’’, and ‘’Do You Know a Secret’’. In addition, Ariana Grande is the first solo artist to have this record in the music industry.
According to CNN Entertainment, she also broke the record for the most simultaneous top 40 Billboard Hot 100 hits by a female artist, charting 11 songs. All 12 of the album’s songs have hit the charts, with one falling short of making the top 40.
