It’s good to see Offset putting his foot down on the issues that matter. During one of Cardi B’s recent livestreams, he was seen playing Fortnite and offered a scathing critique of the massively popular game: “That shit for kids, that shit wack. I like Call of Duty, get your ass in the field, real game. If you gon’ die, you gon die. All that building up, it ain’t real life.”
To be fair, the whole respawning part of Call of Duty is not real life and Fortnite’s one death rule is way more realistic. But I’m not sure that was what Offset was going for. You see, it’s not about how many times you die that makes it like real life, it’s the fact that walls magically appearing in front of someone is not realistic. In that sense, Offset is quite discerning.
Cardi B offered her point of view as well saying, “Yeah because I be seeing the kids talk about the game, but I don’t really know. My favorite game is really Mortal Kombat.” You’re wrong Cardi, that game sucks.
