[MUSIC] A BOOGIE ADDRESS RECORD LOW ALBUM SALES

With Hoodie SZN going crazy in the streets, A Boogie Wit The Hoodie is doing his rounds in the media. A Boogie just scored his first number 1 album after the third week of Hoodie Szn being on the BillBoards. But one major problem with the album is that it also set a record for lowest physical copies sold for a number 1 album at 823.

Today on Complex Everyday Struggle A Boogie address the comments made on his accomplishments “It sound like they trying to discredit me. I’mma keep it A buck. But at the same time Its like, I dont give a fuck because I went brazy.”

Its 2019 and streams are what matter most. Where would you even find a CD at since Best Buy stop selling them, let alone find a CD player. This drew attention from the fact A Boogie secured his first number 1 ever and put a spotlight on how streams are calculated. “I did 90 units first week. I did 50 something the second week. 50 something again the following week.” A Boogie explained before saying his numbers will always be good because he focuses on making timeless music. ” You can’t deny real music like real music you can’t deny that shit. That shit gonna last forever, for real for real, And a lot of songs on this album are forever lasting.”

All bs aside congratulations to the Bronx rapper of his number 1 album showing his trajectory as a artist is undeniable. Also in the video he mention that the follow up to Hoodie Szn is “ARTIST 2.0” and Artist Vs A Boogie” which both are going to be featureless. A Boogie also talks about how he’s done doing features and how he’s getting more into fashion this year. Check out the video below.
