[News] Kanye reveals dome homes in Calabasas

TMZ has apparently found the secret location of Kanye’s dome-shaped community homes in Calabasas. The domes were apparently inspired by the homes on Tatooine in Star Wars. I can clearly see the resemblance. According to TMZ, the homes are an attempt to break the barriers inherit in social class such as rich and poor.

Each dome is 50 feet high and there are many on Kanye’s 300 acre property. Apparently, the team is studying homes throughout human history and culture to develop the prototypes.

“There, with the hazy heft of something enormous and far away, stand a trio of structures that look like the skeletons of wooden spaceships,” said Forbes writer Zack O’Malley Greenburg when he paid visited the homes. “They’re the physical prototypes of his concept, each oblong and dozens of feet tall, and West leads me inside each one. He tells me they could be used as living spaces for the homeless, perhaps sunk into the ground with light filtering in through the top. We stand there in silence for several minutes considering the structures before walking back down to his lurking Lamborghini and zooming off into the night.”

[Music] Lana Del Rey shares artwork and release date of new album

[Music] Lana Del Rey shares artwork and release date of new album

Lana Del Rey has been teasing her upcoming album for quite some time now. In a concert in Spain in July, she said the record was “coming out next month”. On Instagram, Lana Del Rey confirmed that Norman Fucking Rockwell will be coming out August 30th. In the post, we can also see the cover art, with the track list beside it.

The LP is produced by Jack Antonoff, who worked on Kevin Abstract’s ARIZONA BABY and Taylor Swift’s “The Archer”. We’ll see how much Norman Fucking Rockwell resembles those productions.

Lana Del Rey has already shared some songs that will appear on the upcoming release. These include “Venice Bitch,” “Mariners Apartment Complex,” “Hope Is a Dangerous Thing for a Woman Like Me to Have – But I Have it,” and a cover of Sublime’s “Doin’ Time”.

[Music] Old Town Road makes Billboard history

[Music] Old Town Road makes Billboard history

On Monday, it was announced that Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” has broken the record for most consecutive weeks atop the Billboard Top 100 charts. The official count is 17 weeks with previous songs, “Despacito” and “One Sweet Day”, holding the record at 16 weeks.

I never liked this song and now I like it even less. The song is annoying, repetitive and frankly I never chose to listen to it on my own. But to be fair, any song that is going to be number 1 on the charts for that long is going to be considered overplayed by anyone. That doesn’t mean that each song that does that are equally worthy.

[Music] Blueface dumps both of his girlfriends

[Music] Blueface dumps both of his girlfriends

Blueface recently kicked his two girlfriends out, even after the two got matching tattoos. This may seem cruel, it is understandable when one of them said on her Instagram stories that they were only with Blueface for the clout and money.

The rapper discussed the matter in his recent interview with The Breakfast Club. He said that even if they joke about being with him for the wrong reasons, that’s enough of a reason to break off the relationship.

I find it interesting how Blueface is so quick to judge his girlfriend’s motives when he literally has two girlfriends. It’s not like he is being super faithful either. But then again, I get why he did what he did and wish him luck in finding others who will appreciate him for his person rather than his money and reputation.

[Movies] First trailer for Zombieland 2

[Movies] First trailer for Zombieland 2

The first trailer for the second Zombieland movie has dropped.

The movie is called Zombieland Double Tap and will feature the same four leads (Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg, and Abigail Breslin) as the first movie. Also, the director (Ruben Fleischer) and two writers (Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick) are coming back for the sequel.

The trailer doesn’t show a lot of the plot, but features characters meeting up to fight various zombies together.

“Through comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland, these four slayers must face off against the many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family,” says the description.

Though I’m excited for this movie, it’s fine that this trailer doesn’t really give us anything substantial about the film because it is only the first one. I hope in future trailers we get more details about the plot, but that is okay for now.
