According to Variety, prosecutors in California are charging Eric Holder, suspect in the Nipsey Hussle shooting, with murder and two counts of attempted murder. The incident took place outside The Marathon Clothing, a store owned by Hussle in South Los Angeles.
Prosecutors claim that on Sunday, Eric Holder had some conversations with Nipsey Hussle outside Hussle’s clothing store, and eventually returned with a handgun. In the parking lot, Holder opened fire on Hussle and two other men, killing Hussle and badly injuring the two men. Holder promptly fled in a getaway car was eventually arrested on Tuesday in Bellflower, California.
Eric Holder is being held in jail for $7 million bond and would likely face life in prison if convicted. Holder and his attorney have entered into a not guilty plea, according to Claudia Peschiutta of KNX 1070 AM NewsRadio.
In 2012, Eric Holder spent 6 months in prison for possession of a loaded handgun in public.
We all hope to see justice for Nipsey Hussle’s murder and if Holder turns out to be guilty, then he should spend the rest of his life in jail.
That seems to be the mantra some savvy eBay users have been using. The follow up to Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame is set to be one of the biggest movie events of the year. The internet almost ceased to exist when tickets for Endgame went on pre-sale on Tuesday. Eager fans braved crashing servers and long wait times (everyone’s worst nightmare) while trying to buy tickets. As it turned out, Avengers: Endgame broke the record for most pre-sale tickets sold in 24 hours.
With tickets for certain theaters selling out extremely quickly, some clever scalpers are taking advantage of the high demand and reselling tickets to these sold-out tickets online. On eBay, one seller in Chicago is offering four opening night tickets for $5,000. Another seller in Nevada is asking for $25,000 for two opening weekend tickets. The bidding started at $15,000, so it can only go up from there.
As an economist might have predicted, there are those that are starting to offer tickets at lower prices, which would obviously bring more bidders. Sellers are offering some for between $100-$300. The hype for Endgame tickets is at its highest it’s been, and an interesting little economy is being formed for them.
I was planning on seeing Endgame but I don’t think I can afford to see it opening night, apparently. My advice to you if you’re in a bidding war on eBay for Endgame tickets, wait it out, because prices will likely continue to drop in the future.
Diddy bought his son Christian Combs a gold jet ski for his 21st birthday. Though it appears surprising, Diddy has bought Christian other jet skis, but never one in gold. I mean, everybody knows that a gold jet ski is far superior to any other colored jet ski. Christian Combs is also a well known fan of these vehicles frequently seen riding them near his home in Miami.
Also, Christian could use a pick-me-up after the recent death of his mother, Kim Porter. Diddy came through and orchestrated a massive party for his son. The party took place at the famous Mandrake Restaurant in Miami, in which Diddy was accompanied by his girlfriend Breah Hicks, Desiigner, Ty Dolla $ign, and others.
As for the gold jet ski, it did not take long for Christian to try it out. On Tuesday, he posted a picture of himself on the vehicle in the waters off the coast of Miami. In the photo, Combs stares off into the distance, as the sun sets in the background. What exactly he was thinking about we can’t be sure, but perhaps it was how he needed to stay still for this epic picture.
I support the idea that if you have the money for a lavish birthday gift, spend it, as long as you don’t go broke. That’s exactly what Diddy did, and he kept it in the family. Brilliant.
NBC and Dick Clark Productions announced the nominees for the 56 categories for the annual Billboard Music Awards. Cardi B, who recently won a Grammy for Best Rap Album, had more nominations than any other artist at 21. And just as astonishingly, Ms. B was nominated twice for Top 100 Song, Top Artist, and Top Collaboration. For those that were curious, the record for most nominations in a single year is held by The Chainsmokers and Drake, who were both nominated for 22 categories in last year’s awards.
Drake and Post Malone have the second most nominations, at 17 a piece and Travis Scott has third, with 12.
Given how much rap music dominated the charts this past year, it is no surprise that Top Album is filled with high selling rap albums. Cardi B’s ‘Invasion of Privacy’, Drake’s ‘Scorpion’ and Travis Scott’s ‘Astroworld’ are all in the running. The same trend runs true for Top 100 song which nominations of Cardi’s ‘I Like it’, Juice WRLD’s ‘Lucid Dreams’, Post Malone’s ‘Better Now’ and Scott’s ‘SICKO MODE’.
The most treasured category is Top Artist, and Cardi B will have some tough competition. Drake, Post Malone, Ariana Grande, and Travis Scott are all looking to take home the event’s biggest prize.
Personally, I’d like to see Cardi B sweep these categories. She had an unbelievable year in 2018 and winning these awards would be the icing on the already huge cake.
HBO’s documentary Leaving Neverland tells the stories of James Safechuck and Wade Robeson, who both accuse Michael Jackson of abusing them as childs. Right after part one was released in March, immediately the internet became the battling ground for those who believe the allegations, and those who don’t. Even before the debut of the groundbreaking documentary, supporters of the late singer had formed a website called MJinnocent.com and set up billboards and bus-side ads. The site’s opening webpage has the line: “Facts don’t lie. People do.” which eerily sounds like something a Second Amendment defender would say.
As one would imagine, the Jackson family were extremely opposed to Dan Reed’s documentary. Taj Jackson, Michael’s nephew, was the first in the family to speak out against the documentary and specifically Wade Robeson, who he claimed only did the documentary for money. Taj Jackson is now asking for $777K on a GoFundMe for his own docuseries, which he claims will detail the relationship between Michael Jackson and the media. This docuseries, Jackson hopes, will reveal some of the supposed lies told in Leavin Neverland.
It makes sense to me that Taj Jackson is going through with this. Leaving Neverland has really hurt the Michael Jackson’s image and legacy and if the Jackson estate wants to somehow combat this firestorm, they need to strike back.
