You all remember the handsome young actor who played Derwin Davis, a football player, alongside Tia Mowry in The Game. Well that same actor has found himself facing six years in prison due to a DUI and child abuse.
Marion “Pooch” Hall was charged Wednesday with drinking under the influence and child abuse which could land him in the slammer for a maximum of six years. Hall is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday where he will find out his fate.
The Ray Donavan actor was arrested three weeks ago when he was found driving with his two year old son on his lap. Burbank Police state that witnesses reported the car the actor was driving to be weaving in and out of the lane as well as what appeared to be a small child on his lap, reported by People. The news source added that one witness even revealed that they saw the hands of the young child on the steering wheel at one point. The 44 year old was detained when he collided with a parked vehicle. Luckily, there were no injuries and authorities released his son to the custody of the actor’s wife at the scene.
The case is said to still be under investigation by the Burbank Police Department. Hall has yet to make a statement about his actions.
Make sure to leave a comment telling us how you feel about Halls actions.
A number of suspicious packages were sent to prominent Democrats on Wednesday leaving the whole country on edge.
According to the FBI these packages were said to have contained “potentially destructive devices.” CBS has stated that the recipients of these mysterious packages were former President Obama, former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, former CIA Director John Brenan, whose package were sent to the New York City office of CNN, former Attorney General Eric Holder and Liberal Philanthropist George Soros. A package was also addressed to Democratic Rep Maxine Waters, but luckily her package had been intercepted by a House mail facility.
As of Thursday morning, NBC News has reported that packages containing the same pipe bomb were sent to former Vice President Joe Biden and Robert De Niro. These packages have also been intercepted.
Since the suspicious packages surfaced Wednesday morning the FBI have been tweeting a series of statements asking for informative tips about the packages and where they are coming from.
President Trump released a statement Wednesday evening at a “Make America Great Again Rally” promising to bring the suspects behind these suspicious packages to Justice. The President stated that his highest duty is to “keep America safe.” He announced that the federal government would be undergoing an aggressive investigation and that this has been “an attack on our democracy itself,” suggesting that all sides should “come together in peace and harmony.”
Vice President Mike Pence has also released a statement via twitter about the suspicious packages. He stated yesterday that “These cowardly actions are despicable & have no place in this Country.”
The recipients of these packages have also made statements about the packages that have been addressed to them. Democratic representative Maxine Waters of California has stated “I don’t know whether the bombs are real or not, but we should not crawl under the bed, close the doors, not go out, be afraid to go to rallies, whatever. We have to keep doing what we’re doing in order to make this country right.” She added “I ain’t scared.”
Hillary Clinton has also made a statement about the threat. “We are fine thanks to the men and women of the secret service who intercepted the package addressed to us long before it made its way to our home.” She added that “Everyday we are grateful for their service and commitment and obviously, never, never more than today, But it is a troubling time isn’t it? And it’s a time of deep divisions and we have to do everything we can to bring our country together.”
There is still more developing on this story as the investigation of where these packages are coming from continues.
Comment down below why you think top Democrats and Trump critics are being targeted.
There were so many amazing talents that took the stage of the Tidal X Brooklyn benefit concert Tuesday evening.
The fourth annual benefit concert featured many artists from a number of different genres looking to help raise money and awareness for prison reform in America. It was announced that all proceeds from the event were donated to four different non-profit organizations that benefit criminal justice reforms across America.
The show include more than thirty acts that graced the stage at the Barclays Center for a six-hour performance which was also live streamed for at home viewers who were not physically in attendance. The array of performers gave the 20,000 fans in attendance and viewers at home a night full of enjoyment. In result of the show Billboard decided to highlight six acts that they feel gave the crowd goosebumps that will have them talking about these particular performances for a long time.
Normani
The first act Billboard decided to highlight is Normani Kordei Hamilton , and I couldn’t agree with this highlight more. Normani looked radiant on stage as she put on a performance that had everyone’s eyes glued to her every move. The 22-year old ex-Fifth Harmony member definitely proved that she is more than capable of being a solo act after speculation grew about how successful the members would be when announcing their permanent hiatus. Her highly choreographed performance and commanding stage presence reminded me of high status female artists like Beyonce and Teyana Taylor. This was definitely one performance no one will forget and I’m so glad I got to witness it.
Meek Mill
The second act is Meek Mill who amazed fans by veering away from his scheduled set and inviting fans on stage to Milly Rock and show off their dance moves. Radio legend and the voice of New York welcomed Meek to the stage, a performance the audience long awaited for, considering Meeks personal ties to the cause. The Philadelphia born rapper started with a crowd favorite “Dreams and Nightmares” which is a guaranteed way to get his fans up and reciting every word of the song. His performance heightened when the rapper held a memorable moment of silence for those who have fell victim to gun violence or wrongful imprisonment. This performance overall was definitely a crowd favorite as the rapper ended by bringing four audience members on stage to Milly Rock and Harlem Shake completely off script but something everyone enjoyed.
THE LOX
The next performance mentioned by billboard was definitely a blast from the past that all early 90’s babies probably have been longing. During The LOX had a little surprise for fans as they played throwbacks that everyone couldn’t help but jump up and down to. This performance will definitely also be remember by the multiple negative remarks made towards Donald Trump by group member Jadakiss. The crowd was even more stunned when the group brought out 90’s legend Lil Kim. Her performance of “It’s all about the Benjamins baby” showed this 90’s queen bee has still got it and always will.
Kodak Black
Kodak performed his new song, which proved to be known by the crowd even though it had just been released a few weeks ago.
Anderson. Paak
Not only did Paak show his multifaceted talent by both rapping and playing the drums during his set. His performance reached a new level after the star invited rapper Too Short to join him.
Lil Wayne
Finally the performer many people waited till one in the morning to see, Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne was one of the headliners for the night. His 30 minute concert finale included songs from his new album as well as some of his old classics. One of my personal favs performed during the night was the rappers Don’t Cry song on his new album which samples xxxtentacion, a young rapper who passed away this past summer. The tribute to the young rapper pulled on many heartstrings in the audience. The rapper ended the show with an iconic message to his fans “I aint shit without you”.
There were a number of other amazing performances Tuesday night. Some others that I personally enjoyed were Queen Naija, an up and coming new artist who performed some of her new hit songs, “Medicine” and “Karma”. Of course another I enjoyed happens to be a total legend who many doubted if she would even show up. Lauryn Hill gave a breathtaking performance singing some of her classics and even doing a remix of Drakes hit song “Nice for What” which samples the song “Ex-Factor” from her album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.
Of course the night included a multitude of other talented performances, and many shout outs and stories about people who have been personally affected by police brutality and unfair treatment within the justice system. This show will definitely be one to remember.

“Traitor” the seventh episode of “American Horror Story: Apocalypse” features a Weight Watchers witch, Frances Conroy playing the Theremin, a cheesy old-school Christmas slasher and, best of all, witches strutting in slow motion to music.
Episode 7 starts with Voodoo Queen Dinah (Adina Porter), who force feeds cheating husbands strawberry and mistress-heart smoothie/potions. This whole sequence just made me miss Angela Bassett. Why couldn’t they bring back her “Coven” character?
We see behind the scenes of “Bubbles McGee in ‘A Christmas to Dismember’” where Joan Collins reappears as the lead, who’s also a telepathic witch. The movie is about a grandma who, just after murdering her husband, gets attacked by a killer Santa — is this a rare “Asylum” reference with this murderous Santa?
Madison Montgomery (Emma Roberts) confronts Bubbles between takes to bring her to Cordelia (Sarah Paulson). They need all the help they can get against Langdon (Cody Fern). “Even the ones with age spots.” Seeing Emma Roberts and Joan Collins try to one-up each other was great in the cattiest way.
Dinah helps Cordelia summon Papa Legba, the Voodoo Devil, who brings Nan (Jamie Brewster) along. For those of you who forgot, in “Coven” Jessica Lange and Angela Bassett drowned Nan in a bathtub trying to make a deal with Papa Legba. Nan’s rightfully bitter, but says she’s having fun in Hell.

Papa Legba tells Cordelia that in order for him to help fight against Langdon, she has to give him the souls of all her witches. She refuses and he vanishes.
All the young witches are sitting around at Miss Robichaux’s when Coco (Leslie Grossman) announces that her powers are expanding. She can tell the exact number of calories in any food; she’s a human nutrition label! When she’s celebrating by eating a Sno-Ball (only 80 calories! Weird product placement considering what happens next), she chokes on it and dies. Mallory (Billie Lourd) performs some kind of witch surgery on her, cutting her neck open, removing the Hostess treat and bringing her back to life. This makes Zoe (Taissa Farmiga) think Mallory is the next Supreme, so I’m willing to bet she’s not.
Bubbles and Myrtle (Frances Conroy) cook dinner for the two remaining warlock professors at Hawthorne. As Myrtle drones on, the warlock’s minds wander to their plans to kill the witches and telepathic Bubbles hears the whole thing.
Back at Miss Robichaux’s, all the witches and Behold (Billy Porter) celebrate Mallory’s potential as the next Supreme. Behold reminding them that Langdon killed his family can’t even bring the mood down. But do you know what can? Cordelia recounting how two years ago, when she sensed the end nearing, she painfully brought Myrtle back from the dead. Finally! Since her first appearance in episode 3 of “Apocalypse,” I was wondering when they were going to explain how Myrtle was brought back after being burnt at the stake in the “Coven” finale. Consider me satisfied.
This episode of “Apocalypse” finally explained how Myrtle is back after being burnt at the stake in the final episode of “Coven.” Photo courtesy of autostraddle.com
The witches do their signature slow-motion walk to the gas station where John Henry (Cheyenne Jackson) was killed by Satanic Kathy Bates. As Myrtle vapes, Zoe unsuccessfully tries to bring him back from the dead. We cut to another silent movie style Seven Wonders test, but this time we only see the final test. Mallory brings John back from the dead.
Coco confronts Satanic Kathy Bates only to get shot, but it’s all part of the plan because the Coven’s albino henchmen kidnap her.
The warlock professors concoct a powder that will kill all the witches, complete with quick, jolting shots of all of the Coven bleeding out of their eyes. Before they can do anything with it, the witches show up. Cordelia burns the powder and, with some next level Supreme power, removes their mouths.

The Coven, John, Behold and the henchmen strut to the stakes with the warlocks and Kathy Bates. As she’s bounced with gas, she gives a chilling speech, affirming her love for Satan. The three of them are burnt alive in graphic detail. The episode ends with the witches doing what they do best, strutting away.
The trailer for next week’s episode teases Evan Peters and Billy Eichner returning as new characters who want to serve Langdon. Hopefully, the next episode will conclude this flashback and get us back to the post-apocalyptic present. I’m loving all the witches, but there are only three episodes left and there’s a lot to wrap up.
Make sure to check back next week for the recap of the eighth episode of “American Horror Story: Apocalypse!”
The Boston Red Sox were aware heading into Game 2 that they had failed to capitalize fully on the home-field advantage they fought for during a 108-win regular-season.
With an opportunity to do so on the MLB’s biggest stage, Boston seized the moment in front of a loud Fenway Park faithful.
The Boston Red Sox defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-2 on Wednesday night at Fenway Park in Game 2 of the World Series to take a 2-0 series lead.
The Boston Red Sox used a three-run fifth inning to power past Los Angeles as for the first time this postseason Boston won both of their home games to begin a series.
Trailing 2-1 after the Dodgers scored a pair of runs in the fourth inning against left-hander David Price, Boston reclaimed the lead in a classic two-out rally.
A three-run fifth inning would be capped off by a two-run single by designated hitter J.D. Martinez with two outs off Dodgers reliever Ryan Madson.
David Price (1-0) picked up the win for the Boston Red Sox.
Picking up where he left off in the ALCS, Price gave the Boston Red Sox yet another brilliant effort on the mound.
The former AL Cy Young winner contained the Dodgers power hitting lineup as he allowed two runs on three hits and three walks while striking out five over six innings of work.
David Price is 2-0 in his last two postseason starts after going 0-9 in his previous 11 career starts.
The Boston Red Sox tallied eight hits on another chilly night in October. It wasn’t atypical of the Red Sox offense to only put four runs on the board, but they’ll take it as they inch closer to the ultimate prize.
Red Sox right-fielder Mookie Betts collected three hits on the night, scoring one of Boston’s three runs in the fifth inning. All three hitters in the bottom of the Red Sox batting order collected a hit each.
Alex Cora interestingly enough went back to his right-hander Nathan Eovaldi out of the bullpen in Game 2 as Eovaldi pitched a 1-2-3 inning in the eighth inning.
The usage of Eovaldi all but rules him out for the opportunity to start Game 3 for the Boston Red Sox. Rick Porcello figures to be Boston’s starter when the series shifts to Los Angeles.
Craig Kimbrel came on in the ninth inning to get his sixth save of the postseason as he breezed through a nine ninth inning. He is perfect in save opportunities this postseason.
The Boston Red Sox are 14-2 in their last 16 World Series games going back to the 04′, 07′, and 13′ World Series.
In each of their last two World Series where they owned a 2-0 series lead they went on to sweep both of those series (04′ and 07′).
It was abrutal night of offense for Dave Roberts from the visitors dugout, who saw the last 16 Dodgers hitters retired as they collected only three hits on the night.
Save for a two-out RBI single by Yasiel Puig and the Los Angeles Dodgers in what could be looked at as a must-win game couldn’t muster any offense in Fenway Park.
In addition to that, he saw his move to Ryan Madson backfire as Madson walked the initial batter he faced in Steve Pearce to allow Boston to tie the game as the bases were loaded as Madson entered with two outs in the fifth.
He then witnessed his trusted reliever give up a two-run RBI single that proved to be the difference in Game 2.
The Los Angeles Dodgers don’t want to hear about history, but it’s hard to fight this particular history they face down 0-2 in the World Series.Teams trailing 0-2 in the World Series are 10-41 all-time.
The last team to erase a 0-2 deficit to win the World Series was back in 1996 when the New York Yankees did it vs the Atlanta Braves.
Game 3 of the 2018 World Series will take place at Dodger Stadium on Friday night as Dodgers right-hander Walker Buehler will take the mound vs a start to be determined.
