[ENTERTAINMENT] FIRST POSTER FOR NEW ‘HELLBOY’ FILM SHOWS OFF DAVID HARBOUR IN LEAD ROLE

[ENTERTAINMENT] FIRST POSTER FOR NEW ‘HELLBOY’ FILM SHOWS OFF DAVID HARBOUR IN LEAD ROLE

ā€œStranger Thingsā€ star David Harbour has been cast in the upcoming ā€œHellboyā€ reboot. Neill Marshall, director of the 2005 horror film ā€œThe Descentā€ and some of the most iconic ā€œGame of Thronesā€ episodes, is set to helm the remake.

In an exclusive to ā€œEntertainment Weeklyā€ the marketing team unveiled the first poster for next year’s film.

The poster looks pretty monstrous, with the demon’s creepy, ripped red body and wielding a flaming sword in front of a red, Hell-ish background with the caption ā€œLegendary AF.ā€

Earlier this year, the first look at Harbour is full “Hellboy” costume was revealed, and combined with this first poster, it looks like he’s going to be a great fit. He looks more buff and, frankly, more ominous and foreboding that Ron Perlman’s take on the character.

Looking to be more ā€œLoganā€ than ā€œVenomā€ the studio has given the okay on an R-rated version of ā€œHellboy.ā€ This will surely help differentiate between the two PG-13 rated Ron Perlman films.

“Hellboy”, which will costar Milla Jovovich and Ian McShane, is set to be released theatrically on April 12, 2019.

[LIFESTYLE] KYLIE JENNER HALLOWEEN INSPIRED MAKEUP LINE

[LIFESTYLE] KYLIE JENNER HALLOWEEN INSPIRED MAKEUP LINE

Kylie Jenner is back at it again with another makeup line.

The reality star and multi-million dollar 21 year old just recently launched a line with bff Jordyn Woods, but that has not stopped her from releasing her Halloween set up. According to Cosmopolitan the collectionĀ  comes with 3D packaging and glasses giving it a very haunted feel. The package includes an eyeshadow palette, lip sticks, a lip kit, lip gloss, liquid eyeshadow, and of course highlighter. The dark colors definitely give off a spooky vibe and I’m sure will definitely be a palette all you makeup gurus will not want to miss out on this Halloween.

If the makeup shades were not enough to get you in the Halloween spirit, the names of the different products within the line sure will. The names include “Hello Ghordeous” , “Bite Me”, “Nightmare”, “Monster”, “Spider Bite” and one of my personal favorites “Hex on my Ex”. These product names are perfect for luring in makeup/Halloween lovers.

Kylie’s makeup line, Kylie Cosmetics has already gained a net-worth of more than $800 million since the launch in 2016. Since then,Ā the youngest sister of the Kardashians has become a first time young mom, and still manages to maintain a kick ass makeup company. The line will be launching October 12th and has not yet been discussed on how much the products will cost.

Be on the look out and make sure you comment down below if this will be one of your go to lines this Halloween.

[ENTERTAINMENT] PARAMOUNT’S DOOMED ‘HEATHERS’ TV SHOW WILL FINALLY AIR

[ENTERTAINMENT] PARAMOUNT’S DOOMED ‘HEATHERS’ TV SHOW WILL FINALLY AIR

“Dear Diary, my teen-angst bullshit now has a body count,” says Veronica Sawyer in the 1988 film “Heathers.”

Paramount Network’s television remake of the classic high school film has been in turmoil for the past year. Originally intended as a 10 episode season to be aired in the Spring of 2018, the show was indefinitely postponed following February’s Parkland school shooting.

The show, much like the original film, focuses on three students named Heather, the cool clique of the school, as Veronica and her boyfriend JD kill the Heathers and frame it as suicide. While the original featured Winona Ryder as Veronica and three white, preppy females (including Shannen Doherty) as the Heathers, the remake will have the Heathers as one gay student, an overweight girl and female student of color, reflecting on the changing dynamic of high schools since the 80’s.

The fifth episode of the series apparently opens with a first person POV shooter game that takes place in a high school. According to the network, the scene has been changed so it doesn’t take place within a school.

The first season was originally set to be 10 episodes, with the finale featuring the school blowing up in an explosion (like the original planned ending for the 80’s film) but Paramount found it too controversial. Now the first season will consist of the first 9 episodes and end on a cliffhanger, omitting the planned ending.

Before the first season of ā€œHeathersā€ was put on hold, a second season was announced. It is reported to take place in the 1700s and focus on Marie Antoinette. It sounds like they decided to scrap the idea of a school setting, after the seemingly endless controversy surrounding the first season.

The nine episodes of the first season of ā€œHeathersā€ will be available to stream on the Paramount Network app on October 22, while two episodes will air each night on the Paramount Network, starting on the 25.

Check out the trailer for the original “Heathers” below.

Will you be checking out the television reboot of ā€œHeathersā€ or do you think it’s best to leave it dead?

[NEWS] THE OMINOUS TEXT MESSAGE

[NEWS] THE OMINOUS TEXT MESSAGE

I am sure you all experienced the utter surprise and confusion yesterday afternoon when your phone, along with millions of other, buzzed with a message from Americas very own President, Donald Trump.

The message that surfaced on the phone screen of many yesterday stated “THIS IS A TEST of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed”. This small message apparently authorized by Donald Trump will be the first of many to alert Americans of national emergencies and catastrophe’s that may potentially occur. What makes these alerts unique from the alerts we are now used to getting like amber warnings and flood warning messages is that these “presidential alerts” are not able to be turned off, there is no opting out of this one. This mere fact alone has many fuming, and according to The New York Times, has prompted a lawsuit which has been filed in New York. The NYT states that three New York residents say the alerts violate their free speech.

What many don’t know is that the Communication Act of 1934 makes this completely legal and gives the president power to use communication systems in the case of an emergency.

Americans took to twitter heavily to express their comments, opinions, questions, and concerns about the Nationwide text message. See some of the tweets below that sparked the internet as well as brought humor to the very serious concerns of many Americans.

I, like many, am not really a fan of the text messages from the president, but was also lucky enough to not have received one. Comment down below what you think of the President being able to distribute out mass text messages.

[ENTERTAINMENT] 10 HALLOWEEN MOVIES TO WATCH THIS OCTOBER!

[ENTERTAINMENT] 10 HALLOWEEN MOVIES TO WATCH THIS OCTOBER!

It is finally the month of October and you all know what that means, its time to get spooky. What better way to do that than to cuddle on a couch with a big comfy blanket with friends and family and watch some of the best Halloween movies we all know and love.

I don’t know about any of you but I can not help but watch some of my favorite childhood Halloween movies every October with some of my bestfriends while snacking on Halloween cookies of course! Because I am such a lover of Halloween movies, I decided to share 10 Halloween movies I cannot go without watching during the month of October.

After looking at Seventeen Magazines “42 Best Halloween Movies Ever”, I decided to chose 10 of my favorite from that list. I promise you will not regret tuning into these.

Paranormal Activity (2009)

If you love the idea of paranormal activity, ghosts, and spirits then this is definitely one for you! This movie follows a coupleĀ  and the supernatural activity that occurs to them in their house. Watching the couple try to get rid of the evil presence that wants to take over their life will have you clinging to the edge of your seat during every scene!

The Haunted Mansion (2003)

Who doesn’t love Eddie Murphy ? I know I do! This corky little Halloween movie was definitely one to remember, and one I don’t think you would forget! Follow this family as they get stuck at this creepy old mansion on their way to their family vacation. YIKES!

Matilda (1996)

This one is an oldie but definitely a goodie. As you follow the unlucky life of Matilda and her journey of trying to learn how to use this power she has just realized she holds you wont help but fall in love with this heartwarming storyline.

Twitches (2005)

We all love these twin witches! Watch these twin sisters, played by the Mowry twins, find each other for the first time and realize that they are not only twins but witches. Watch as they defeat the dark shadow and reunite with their mother, all while learning the story of their past.

Halloweentown (1998)

This movie is the first out of the Halloweentown series and has become a Disney classic. It is the start of three siblings finding out that the holiday that has been hated so much in their household is actually in their genes. Once they learn that their grandmother is a witch that lives in a place called Halloweentown, it opens up a lifetime of possibility for them.

Hocus Pocus (1993)

Okay, if you didn’t know it is actually the 25th anniversary of Hocus Pocus which means all the reason why it should be on your movie list this October, not to mention it is a Halloween classic. This movie will definitely give you a good laugh and includes all of the Halloween stereotypes you can imagine.

Carrie (2013)

This classic is definitely more on the creepier side, but one I actually love very much! The movie follows a young girl who is considered to be a loner and someone who gets bullied quite often in school, but when she finds out she has powers, she undoubtedly gets her bloody revenge.

Get Out (2017)

Get out is a more recent one, and a movie I did not have on my Halloween list, but when I saw it on the seventeen magazine list, I was actually happy to add it on. This movie has become one of my favorites and portrays the institutionalized racism that exists in America today. This follows a young black man named Chris, and his journey meeting his white girlfriends family. Lets just say getting out of the sunken place will be a lot harder than he expected!

Monsters Inc. (2001)

This movie has definitely become an American favorite, and don’t let the big scary monsters fool you, this is one of the most loving Halloween movies ever. Watch these ghosts who have a duty to their society to scare little human children fall in love with a little human girl who steals their hearts.

Harry Potter (2001)

Harry Potter is a Movie series that serves as a world classic. With witches, wizards, ghosts and more this is a movie that will serve all of your Halloween needs.

Well there you have it, those are some of my favorite movies to watch in October and get me in the Halloween spirit. Comment down below what you think of my Halloween list, and what some of your favorite Halloween movies to watch are!
