CHRIS BROWN – A “CRAZY” WORLD TOUR

We’re going to hope that Chris Brown was serious when he announced his idea via Twitter about what he believes would be a CRAZY world tour. Indeed it would be with the line up Chris has in mind. The 28 year old tweeted: “Just thinking…A CRAZY WORLD TOUR would be Beyonce, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, CHRIS BROWN. ‘2 for 2’. And if y’all decide to do it without me… give me 10%.” Of course the mention of his ex girlfriend Rihanna raised some eyebrows. People also mentioned that Mars will be busy on his tour with Cardi B. Maybe one day Chris. We hope!

MEEK MILL’S “DREAMS AND NIGHTMARES” CLIMBS BACK TO THE TOP 5 YEARS LATER

The Philadelphia Eagles appropriately chose “Dreams and Nightmares” by Philly’s own Meek Mill as their anthem for this years Super Bowl. Who knew that the song would climb its way back to the charts! The title track from Meek’s 2012 album made its way to 1.47 million U.S on-demand audio and video streams on Monday, February 5, just one day after the game. Although Meek is currently serving time for a probation violation, he still found his way to the charts. So for that, we’re screaming FREE MEEK!

WILL THE EAGLES SKIP THE WHITE HOUSE VISIT?

Since the presidency of Ronald Regan it has been a tradition in the NFL that the newly named Super Bowl Champions visit the White House following their victory. However this year, some players aren’t really feeling it. This has a lot to do with the controversy in the NFL regarding President Trump and his comments towards players who decided to take a knee during the national anthem. Trump stated that all athletes choosing not to stand during the anthem should be fired. Malcolm Jenkins, Torrey Smith, Chris Long, and Lagarrette Blount are just a few of Philadelphia’s players who already confirmed they would NOT be in attendance.

Wide receiver Torrey Smith explained in his interview with CNN that he does not have a message for the president. Smith raised his fist during the anthem in the 2016 season to protest police violence and draw attention to racial and economic inequality in our country. He said “If I told you that I was invited to a party by an individual who I believe is sexist or I told you this individual has said offensive things towards minority groups….you would understand why I wouldn’t want to go to that party.” Perfectly said Torrey. Sorry Trump, looks like another lonely day at the White House.
