While millions of fans around the world, including Beyonce and Jay Z are screaming free Meek, an investigative piece for Rolling Stone published by Paul Solotaroff includes comments from the Philly native Meek Mill who was harshly sentenced 2-4 years in state prison for a failed drug test.
“I won’t let [my family] come”, Meek says, “if they see me like this–fucked up beard, hair all yanked–then it’s like I’m really here. Which I’m not.”
Meek only lets family, a few close friends and his legal team visit him in prison
A Philadelphia attorney who chose to speak anonymously called Brinkley, the judge who sentenced Meek, a “sadist” and claims that he has a pattern of sending young black men to jail for trivial reasons.
According to Meek the probation officer that was appointed to him “hated” him and from the beginning was speaking to Meek like he was “some kind of rapist.”
Meek plans on directly addressing these injustices to prevent situations like these happening to more young innocent black men. “I want to speak on this system and what it does to black people,” he said. “On both fucking sides of the fence.”

Don’t worry fans! Our favorite couple seems to be strong as ever, denying the rumors regarding their relationship that surfaced the internet. It’s clear that just a hint of discontent can send fans into a whirlwind of speculation!
Nowadays, is a break up even official until it’s Instagram official? So when fans discovered that Jhene Aiko had unfollowed boyfriend Big Sean on Instagram, that was all that was needed to confirm the speculations. However, Jhene refutes the rumors via Twitter writing “Sorry, but nothing about you guy’s fan fiction stories are true… I still love you tho.”
Sean quotes Penny’s tweet with clapping hand emojis, making it clear that everything was fine in Paradise.
Although some fans are still not convinced due to the removal of some photos of the two on her account, it may have been in effort to “remodel” her Instagram account, giving it a more organized and aesthetic appeal. There are still photos of the couple together at the Dior Masquerade Ball that they attended in January — they’re just all in one row now.

It seems that another admired Hollywood couple has called it a quits and thousands of fans around the world are outraged! Rapper Big Sean and his girlfriend (or former girlfriend) Jhene Aiko have displayed what seems to be a bit of a messy breakup with former Pussy Cat Doll Nicole Scherzinger in the middle of it all!
Reports say Sean got a “little too close” to Nicole at a party following the Oscars. Apparently the two were together all night, hugging and flirting openly.
“They both attended and Oscar Awards after-party together and were cozied up together sitting at a table on VIP”, a source says. “They looked like they were a couple”.
Reportedly there were no cameras at this particular event but of course word got back to Jhene and of course, she was HOT! The source says that she then confronted Sean about it and that he didn’t deny it!
Since then, Jhene has unfollowed Sean on Instagram. As you should sis!

It looks like Lil Yachty has chosen to work with new rapper Danielle Bregoli (aka Bhad Bhabie or the Cash Me Ousside Girl) regardless of what haters have to say. Yachty even says she’s better than a lot of rappers out now.
A video recently surfaced via Instagram of the two entertainers in the studio. This video sparked some controversy amongst Yachty fans and some weren’t feeling the move. People questioned why Yachty would choose to work with someone like Bregoli. TMZ states that when asked about working with Bhad Bhabie, Yachty seemed confused that people would question her talents as an artist.
“Suck my dick, she is [a rapper],” Yachty snapped. “She harder than a lot of niggas. On God.”
Bregoli added a video of Yachty via Instagram with the caption “u never know who gonna pop up on da tour…”

2017 was a big year for A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie with the release of his first album The Bigger Artist, that debuted at #4 on the billboard 200. His single “Say A” and his hit featuring Kodak Black “Drowning” were a huge success and amongst all this, the Bronx MC is still working like he’s just getting started.
A Boogie gave HipHopDX a taste of his plans to keep his momentum going strong. He explains there’s no limit with what he can do with his talents.

“I like to do anything I’m capable of doing with my voice,” he explained. “So if I could do a pop song, why not? If I can do a savage song and go crazy on that for the streets, why not? If I can do a song that’s R&B, why not? So anything I can reach, rock star, anywhere I’m going there and in 2018, you’re gonna see every type of genre that I reach.”
The rapper then teased of some possible upcoming collaborations with Mr. New York himself: 50 Cent.
“There’s billionaires that came out of the rap system, so that platform right there is for us to follow…We can’t just sit here and make music and think it’s all good. That ain’t it. [We] gotta do more than that, man. We got something in the works too. Me and 50 made a song. We’ll probably have another song coming, we’ll probably have three by the end of the week.”
A Boogie also mentions working with Future and Young Thug in the future.
