SZA’S EMOTIONAL RESPONSE TO HER FADER COVER

Of course you guys have seen that Sza has BLESSED the internet with her breathtaking Fader Magazine cover. The R&B singer celebrated with an emotional Instagram caption earlier today expressing how she feels to be the face of something so big.

Her caption reads: “Can’t explain hearing ‘no’ more times than my self esteem can handle but building resilience. Training ur brain not to be bitter. finding the joy in each lesson and accepting a blessing whenever it comes ..expect nothing. This is for my girls that don’t feel like ‘cover material.’ For my ppl a lil rough around the edges but still trying really hard. For anyone feeling like ‘No’ diminishes ur ability to tap into the universe and be fucking great. STAY IN IT!! Believe you are worthy and stay soft. Stay excited about ur dreams!! Speak them! The universe is watching and hears you. knows the exact time to align. Trust urself. I believe in you. I love you. Fuck anyone who says different. They don’t know u like the universe do 😉

We’re super proud of you Sza!

[NEW VIDEO] IGGY AZALEA “SAVIOR”

I know it seems like some time, but Iggy Azalea is back with some heat and a dope visual to go along with it! The pop star released her music video for her single “Savior” featuring Migos’ rapper Quavo. The video features Iggy inside of a church surrounded by neon lights, battling against her two sides. Quavo unfortunately isn’t featured in the video

This video was released just a few weeks after we learned that Iggy parted ways with Def Jam and signed to Island Records.

DID LONZO DROP THE BALL?

Of course you guys remember the anticipated mixtape of the NBA rookie Lonzo Ball. The 20 year old Laker released his debut mixtape “Born 2 Ball” last Thursday and some say though the project is definitely another form of self promotion, it’s not…terrible!

Lonzo consistently mentions his “Big Baller Brand” and emphasizes his new life as the face of the Los Angeles Lakers and some say his constant bragging got a little bit repetitious and old after a few tracks.

However, on the final song, Lonzo shows his love for his father and plays interview clips of him on draft night in June 2017 and titled the track “LaVar.” The lyrics show a more soft side of Lonzo, and characterize a more personal relationship with his very…outgoing father.

People lookin’ crazy, askin’ is it hard?/ I just laugh ’cause I know they talkin’ ’bout LaVar/ Y’all can hate him, that’s my pops though/ First one that’s there for me once it got cold,”

We can tell Lonzo wants to be taken serious as a new artist. What do y’all think?

DIDDY SPEAKS UP ABOUT NEW RAPPERS OF TODAY

Diddy has recently expressed his opinion regarding today’s Hip Hop and the new artists that have come to the rise. He explains that there might be “too many” rappers and that he is worried the Hip Hop culture might become “diluted”.

“So many people rapping right now,” Diddy said. “It is literally like too much. It’s a lot to take in every day. Everybody saying the same shit in different ways. These are just my opinions. I’m not knocking nobody’s dream. I just don’t want the culture to get diluted, you know? Where it gets so mass produced it doesn’t mean anything.”

Diddy also gave some advice and suggested new artists must be extraordinary so that they stand out in an industry where everyone sounds so similar.

“Artists have to be special,” he said. “Every artist has to be unique in their own right. I’m just trying to say I guess if you gonna be in this game, be great because you can also be part of the noise.”

This makes us wonder if Diddy was also pertaining to the music of his youngest son who is beginning to thrive as a new rap artist. No pressure Christian Combs!
