It looks like “Humble” rapper Kendrick Lamar wants his fans to experience his talents in person–NOT a video. Sources say Lamar no longer wants his fans to record him live at his shows. He is not even letting professional photographers in the capture moments of his tours. Kendrick isn’t the first one to prohibit the use of cells phones during his shows. He actually is one of many! Artist like Jack White, Guns N’ Roses, Jarvis Cocker and Alicia Keys have all banded cell phone use at their concerts. This is a popular trend because a large part of the income in the music industry, even for the most notable artists, relies on the profit made from shows and tours. So even though you really wanna prove to your friends that you had floor seats to a Kendrick Lamar concert, they’ll just have to take your word for it.
