Kobe was a true friend and a true renaissance man.” O’Neal continued, “Kobe and I pushed one another to play some of the greatest basketball of all time, and I proud that no other team has accomplished what the three-peat Lakers have done since the Shaq and Kobe Lakers did it.”

A New Frank Ocean Song Could Be On the Way

A New Frank Ocean Song Could Be On the Way

It’s been almost four years since Frank Ocean released his album Blonde, and visual album Endless. Since 2016, Frank has released an array of singles, and we may be getting a new one sometime soon.

Last year, Frank launched a preorder for a 7″ vinyl edition of an unreleased Acra remix featuring Skepta, called “Little Demon.” Those who purchased the 7″ received an email from Blonded.co this morning, that “Little Demon” will no longer be on the record. Instead, fans will be receiving another “new, unreleased Frank Ocean song.”

The email didn’t provide any further information as to what the song is, or when the 7″ will be shipped. We can only hope that the song will be released some time soon.

The new single will follow a number of singles that Frank released in tandem with his PrEP+ club nights during 2019, including “DHL” and “In my Room.” Frank will be headlining Coachella this April along with Travis Scott and Rage Against the Machine.

Justin Bieber Makes History Breaking Elvis’ Top Chart Record After 59 years

Justin Bieber made history at age 25, becoming the youngest artist to have seven albums reach the top of the Billboard 200, with the release of his seventh album Changes.

Changes released on February 14, 2020, and quickly climbed the ranks of the Billboard Top 200, eventually topping the charts becoming the number one album in the US. Not only becoming Bieber’s seventh album to accomplish this, with Changes’ success, Justin Bieber also beat the record for the youngest artist to have seven albums reach the top of the charts. A record held for 59 years by Elvis Presley. Elvis Presley released his seventh album Blue Hawaii back in 1961 at age 26.

Justin Bieber has been busy with cataloging his journey in the Youtube TV documentary series Seasons. A ten-episode documentary that gives the viewer an inside look at Justin Bieber’s life and music-making progress through the eyes of Bieber himself. The documentary series helped Bieber gain momentum ahead of the release of Changes, his first album in five years. The documentary also tackles Justin Bieber’s history of reckless behavior and substance abuse. Along with his marriage to Hailey Rhode Bieber.

Seasons and Changes serve as a redemption story for the 25-year-old artist. With a career of ups and downs it is inspiring to see Justin defeat his demons. Despite the newfound success Justin still manages to keep himself busy recently appearing in one of Kayne West’s Sunday Service Choir.

SZA Says She’s Done With Interviews and Photoshoots For the Rest of Her Life

SZA Says She’s Done With Interviews and Photoshoots For the Rest of Her Life

SZA has announced that she’s done doing videos, interviews, and photoshoots. She took to Twitter yesterday to express her change of heart, but has yet to give an explanation as to why. She tweeted: “Not doing any videos interviews or photos for the rest of my life lol don’t ask.”

The tweet was posted hours after Rolling Stone unveiled the cover for its upcoming second annual Women Shaping the Future issue. The timing between the tweet and the unveiling has fans suspecting there maybe a correlation between the two. The cover also features Megan Thee Stallion and Normani. Normani and Megan have shared the issues on their social medias, but SZA has yet to do so.

The TDE singer quickly assured everyone that her issues had nothing to do with Normani or Megan. In fact, she tweeted about her love and respect for the two women.

Her next tweet leads us to believe that the singer is dealing with her own personal demons, as she speaks out about mental health and her on-going battle with anxiety. She says her struggles have less to do with outside sources than they do with her own personal thoughts.

The Rolling Stone cover was shot by photographer Campbell Addy, and will be available March 3.

SZA is expected to drop her sophomore album, the follow-up to 2017’s CTRL, sometime later this year.

Tyler, the Creator Gives Theresa May A Special Shoutout at the 2020 Brit Awards

Tyler, the Creator Gives Theresa May A Special Shoutout at the 2020 Brit Awards

Tyler, the Creator won the trophy for Best International Male Artist this Tuesday at the 2020 Brit Awards. During his acceptance speech he gave a special shout out to former U.K. Prime Minister, Theresa May.

In 2015, May, who was Home Secretary at the time, banned Tyler from entering the country, forcing him to cancel his tour dates there. Tyler was banned on the grounds that his music “encourages violence and intolerance of homosexuality” and his lyrics “foster hatred with views that seek to provoke others to terrorists acts.”

In his speech Tyler said: “I want to give a special shout out to someone who I hold dear to my heart, who made it where I couldn’t come to this country five years ago. I know she’s at home pissed off. Thank you Theresa May.”
