Artist Assaulted From His 50 Cent Murals That Went Viral

The Australian street artist who’s been trolling 50 Cent with amusing mash-up murals says he’s been physically attacked over his work.

On Tuesday, Lushsux shared a screenshot of one of 50 Cent’s recent social media post, in which he called out the enigmatic artist for continuing to his viral art series. You know, the series that depicts Fif as everyone from Taylor Swift and 6ix9ine to Donald Trump and Mike Pence. Well, 50 is apparently over it, as he posted an Instagram that stated Lushsux “needs a ass whoopin bad, he still doing this shit.” The post was accompanied by a photo of Fif’s face mashed up with Mike Tyson’s.

Lushsux’s post featured a photo where he appears to be on a hospital bed with a bloody pillow. The artist included a lengthy caption, claiming he had received medical treatment this month after he was attacked “because of this shit.”

50 seems to want some more walls? Unfortunately some 6 or 7 smoothebrains at one time on the street already put me in hospital already this month …” he wrote. “I don’t like to bring up all the bad stuff I have to deal with just to paint … I constantly have to unwillingly fight people (among other insane shit you would not believe even if I told you) on the street who for whatever cooked reason seem to feel the need to come up to me at a wall and start trouble. It’s tiresome, but it will not ever stop me doing what 99.8% of what everyone else seems to for the most part get a hearty chuckle out of, because they aren’t sociopathic pieces of shit.

You can view the post about the assault from Lushsux’s instagram below:

Though Fif has suggested he’s annoyed with the murals, he’s credited Lushsux as a “talented” artist and continues to repost photos of the murals on his Instagram page. Whether it’s intentional or not, Fif is giving the man extremely valuable promotion.

On Wednesday, 50 took to Instagram where he explicitly stated that he had nothing to do with the assault (View 50 Cent’s Post Below).

“The artist got [punched] in the [face] that wasn’t me i didn’t do that,” he wrote.

Hamilton Musical Set to Premiere on Disney+ on July 3

Hamilton Musical Set to Premiere on Disney+ on July 3

Ever since debuting in theaters plays in 2016, Hamilton has gathered a reputation for being one of the best plays ever performed. Hamilton is about the life of Alexander Hamilton, one of the founding fathers of the United States. The play was praised for its unique portrayal of the historical figure, along with the mixture of modern music to help the play stand out.

Despite being well praised, the play was also notorious for being expensive and hard to obtain tickets. As a response, Disney promises a theatrical release of the play, in order to reach a wider audience. Fans waited for years for more news on the release. After Disney+ was launched, the initial idea was that the play would air in theaters, and then make its way to the streaming service.

However, with the current pandemic, theater, have halted all airs, and while businesses are slowly opening their doors, it will take a while before people feel safe going to mass gatherings. Lin-Manuel Miranda posted on his official Twitter that Hamilton will skip theaters altogether, and instead, it will arrive on Disney+ on July 3.

While not the most surprising move, skipping theaters, follow the same path that Trolls 2 did, by debuting digitally the same day that it premiered in theaters. As we reported with Troll 2, movies moving to straight digital releases seemed to be the next step forward in the way we consume our entertainment.

This movement is not without growing pains as AMC and Universal exchanged strong words on Twitter, resulting in AMC banning the future airing of any Universal property.

“She must of thought I was Romeo, but she don’t know me tho. Can’t put a lock my dick, she wanna fuck up a check”

Jdemon$ is a rising dark melodic rap artist from Cranford, NJ making waves in 2020. With two distinct styles consisting of both mosh pit XXXTenacion / Ski Mask the Slump God headbanger vibes and a softer dark trap acoustic vibe, Jdemon$ music has a variety of colors. Whether looking at his Instagram or cover art you’ll peep him staying true to himself, with his slightly dark but very natural look he has about him.

Jdemon$ biggest release to date titled “Romeo” falls into a trap-like acoustic feel with minimal Lofi melody and a bouncy 808/drum production from established YouTube producer Godzay Kantana. Demon$ illustrates the concept of starting a new relationship and having false expectations of romance delivered in rhythmic rap verses and somber yet infectious melodic chorus. Check out the record below which was recorded/mixed by Sloppy Vinyl’s own Jack Arnold. Take notice of the record‘s clean and full modern sound.

When asked where the song’s inspiration came from Jdemon$ quoted, “It’s about people having a misunderstood image of who someone is based off what they see at first. For instance, someone who is famous could appear attractive or dope when in reality they’re a shitty person. But, the people who’ve seen the darker side of reality understand love more, but don’t get the chance. For me it’s specifically seeing how Love was originally a distant and hurtful thing, but I’m learning it can be a helpful and positive thing in my life.”

With witty relatable lyrics, catchy melodies and a unique sound/approach to music… this man is a big time artist to watch this year. Currently you can find Jdemon$ on Instagram known as @nomed.s and stream all of his records at the link in his bio.

Juice WRLD’s Mother Starts Fund to Help Youth Who Struggle With Mental Health

Juice WRLD‘s mother Carmela Wallace announced on Wednesday (April 22) the launch of the Live Free 999 Fund, established to honor the legacy of her late son.

In a statement, Wallace said she established the fund in an effort to provide access to education, prevention, and treatment options for opioid addiction and other forms of drug abuse. A press release listed the fund’s goals, which include:

  • Providing support to programs that address addiction, anxiety, and depression in compassionate ways
  • normalizing the conversation on these topics, particularly in underserved communities.
  • assisting programs that can help people find positive ways of processing mental health challenges, i.e. music or similar creative pursuits.

Live Free 999 will be receiving additional support from Grade A and Interscope records, and is a fund of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization.

“Young people around the world were truly touched by Jarad’s music because he spoke to issues and situations in his music that resonated with them so deeply. I was aware of his struggles with addiction, anxiety, and depression; we had many conversations about his challenges with these issues. I know he truly wanted to be free from the demons that tormented him. I made the decision upon his death that I was going to share his struggles with the world with the objective of helping others,” said Wallace. “It is my hope that Live Free 999 will help people just as Jarrad’s music has and will continue to touch lives for years to come.”

Juice WRLD died on December 8, 2019 of a drug overdose, only 6 days after his 21st birthday. He has released two massively successful albums, Goodbye & Good Riddance (2018) and Death Race for Love (2019). It was announced in January that his family has plans to release unreleased music and “other projects,” sometime in the near future.

HBO Max Officially Coming Next Month

HBO Max Officially Coming Next Month

HBO has always been one the best providers of premium television, providing some of the best shows ever made, such as Oz, and Game of Thrones. Despite one offering programming from their HBO line up, HBO GO and HBO NOW have maintained two of the best streaming services around. However, with the rise of Disney+, Warner Media. announced that they would launch HBO Max a streaming service that brings together programing from other branches of Warner Bro Media, including Comedy Central, Cartoon Network, and HBO.

The streaming service promises new programming, including a new season of Boondocks. Another selling point is the complete library of Friends episode along with South Park, and Rick and Morty. HBO Max was expected to come out this year, but it went silent as Disney+ started gaining traction. However, with recent global events, Warner Media, announced that HBO Max would officially debut next month on May 27.

In an official announced an HBO representative announce, “Our number one goal is having extraordinary content for everyone in the family, and the HBO Max programming mix we are so excited to unveil on May 27th will bear that out,” Robert Greenblatt, chairman of WarnerMedia entertainment and direct-to-consumer, said in a statement. “Even in the midst of this unprecedented pandemic, the all-star teams behind every aspect of HBO Max will deliver a platform and a robust slate of content that is varied, of the highest quality, and second to none.”

HBO Max, it set to debut on May 27, with a price tag of $14.99. The price tag might seem a little steep compared to Disney +, but keep in mind that Disney Plus does include a bundle for $12.99 which includes both Hulu and ESPN. While two dollars less than HBO Max, the library still doesn’t compare, with most of Hulu’s programming also tied behind other paywalls.

I believe that HBO Max is the most bang for your buck, the amount of content will rival that of Disney+ without the family-friendly restrictions.
