A$AP Ferg posted on Instagram on Friday that was being held in solitary confinement without calls or visitation.
“They are trying to keep him there for 2 weeks and if convicted he will be looking at 6 years just for defending himself in a fight,” Ferg wrote. “He was no way in form the aggressor in this ordeal. Pray for justice #freeflacko.”
Rocky was ordered to spend two weeks in jail by a Swedish court for allegedly a “lesser assault charge”.
According to Complex News, Rocky and his team were followed by drug addicts for 4 blocks, and eventually had to act in self defense. Defense attorney Henrik Olsson Lilja said the ruling would be appealed due to the fact that Rocky and those with him during the incident “were attacked and he made use of self-defense.”

Over the weekend, Lil Nas X came out as gay on Twitter. In the tweet, he wrote that he thought his orientation was obvious: by zooming in on the rainbow patterns on the buildings of his 7 EP and a closer examination of c7osure. “Some of y’all already know, some of y’all don’t care, some of y’all not gone fwm no more. but before this month ends i want y’all to listen closely to c7osure,” it said in the tweet ending with a rainbow emoji.
The reactions among the fans have been mixed, with some maintaining their support and others renouncing theirs. Lil Nas X didn’t call out the fans with the latter reaction, only giving them a short and sweet “LMAO”.
It’s refreshing to see the artist of the most popular song of the year, “Old Town Road”, come out on the last day of Pride Month. I think that his fan base is young enough that the decision shouldn’t be too detrimental, and may even increase the support of some fans.

Rich the Kid will have to pay $11,000 a month after settling his divorce with his ex-wife.
Last year, Antoinette Willis, Rich’s ex, filed for divorce, accusing the rapper of cheating often during their marriage. The judge decided that Rich would have to pay that fee to support the two children that he had with Willis.
Rich has added another kid into his family, this time with model Tori Brixx. Does that mean if he divorces her, he will have to pay $5,500 a month? Just wondering.

R Kelly and his attorney have asked the judge to dismiss one of the sex abuse lawsuits. This is one of the four alleged victims.
This suit was filed on February 21, in which the accuser claimed that she was sexually abused by Kelly when she was a minor in 1998. The debate arises because it wasn’t until years later that the victim became aware of her abuser, while in therapy. R Kelly’s legal team is arguing that the statute of limitations to file the lawsuit expired long ago. They said that the victim had until 2002 to file a claim for damages, but state law states that the victim has up to 20 years from “the date the person abused discovers” the abuse to take action.
The plaintiff’s attorney said that Kelly’s lawyers have the right to do this, but that it will be dismissed and will only prolong the case. Things don’t look good for the singer and it seems like his legal team are struggling for answers.

After the BET. Awards reportedly received the lowest ratings in its history, Nicki Minaj made sure to run it in. While posting a link to the supposed low viewership numbers, she tweeted: “”When u go out of ur way to b spiteful & hurt artists who have always supported ur show. When you fire great ppl who have put their heart & soul into the show… when you’d rather be a messy reality show than a prestigious award show… when ur still being dragged by that lace.”
Nicki’s beef with BET started after the official BET website posted an article about Cardi B being the first female rapper to win Rap Album of the Year at the Grammys. The post included a shot at Nicki saying, “Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lacefront.”
Both Nicki and Lil Wayne chose not to perform at the 2019 BET Experience concert that happened before the awards show.

Three months after Nipsey Hussle’s murder outside his Marathon clothing store, we finally have got some details about the motive. In court documents gathered by the LA Times, the women who drove Eric Holder’s getaway car claimed that the lethal encounter started over snitching.
The woman, alternatively named Witness 1, said she and Eric Holder traveled to the strip mall on Crenshaw and Slauson to get food. Upon arrival, Witness 1 said they noticed Nipsey outside of his Marathon Clothing store, and proceeded to a burger joint to get food.
Holder then walked over to Nipsey and the woman said that she heard the two arguing about snitching. Holder asked Nipsey if he had snitched to which Nipley replied if Holder had snitched.
Holder got back into the car with Witness 1 and the two started to drive away. However, Holder asked the woman to pull around a corner, where Holder pulled out a handgun, shot Hussle and two others, and escaped.
