Meek Mill lost $200,000 when the Toronto Raptors beat the Golden State Warriors last night. Though Meek has mentioned the bet in passing on Twitter before, evidence of the big loss came from a video of Meek and a friend who says, “$200K down, he good. Easy, come on. Super easy.”
As mentioned, Meek had referred to this bet in the past. On May 30th, he tweeted, “I’m betting whatever on the series if any of y’all rich guys from Toronto believe in y’all team against the warriors!!!!!”
If that wasn’t enough evidence, Meek tweeted a few days later, “I bet money on the warriors so I’m praying KD come back mannnnnnnn.”
Sucks to suck Meek, should’ve seen the Durant and Klay injuries coming. Hopefully you can see the future better next time, bud.

According to CNN, Cuba Gooding Jr. has been charged with forcible touching, a misdemeanor, related to an alleged incident this past weekend in New York City.
Gooding’s attorney, Mark Heller, said during a press conference that his client is compliant with police and expects to be fully exonerated. He will enter into a not guilty plea.
Heller went into further detail about the case in a press conference: “In my 50 years, almost, of practicing law, I have never seen a case like this one because there is not a scintilla of criminal culpability that can be attributed to Mr. Cuba Gooding Jr. after I have extensively, with my staff, reviewed the video of almost two hours which reflects the entire event for which we are here today. Mr. Gooding has not acted inappropriately in any shape or form. Nothing in the video could even be considered ambiguous and I, frankly, am shocked and horrified that this case is being prosecuted.”
Basically, a 29 year old woman filed a police report that Gooding Jr. had grabbed her breast while Magic Hour Rooftop Bar & Lounge in Manhattan on Sunday.
Gooding Jr. denies these claims.
There was a similar situation in 2012, in which he was accused of pushing a bartender, but the charges were later dropped.

On Wednesday, Cassie posted on Instagram that she is expecting a child with boyfriend Alex Fine. The caption under the photo of Fine and her and baby booties read “Can’t wait to meet our baby girl. Love You Always & Forever”
Fine put a little more effort into his announcement on Instagram, writing an entire letter to his unborn daughter:
“Letter to my Daughter, I will be the first man in your life and will show you the greatest love and affection now and forever. I never thought my heart could grow bigger after meeting your mother… then I found out we were having you and I instantly felt a love that is so indescribable. I promise to be at every dance recital, concert, sporting event, school plays whatever you decide to do I will be there and support you. I am your number one fan.”
“I promise to be a man that you and your mother look up to and love. I will always listen and put the both of you first. I will show you a healthy relationship and how you deserve to be treated. I promise to never approve of any boy you like because they will never be good enough for my baby girl. Sorry. I can’t promise that I won’t embarrass you because I will give you so many kisses at every school drop off.”
I will be the Dad that never forces my opinions on you. I will love whatever you do in life as long as you’re happy. I promise that I will be kind, sweet, and you will always be daddy’s little girl. I promise to love you every single second unconditionally until my last breath. You’re perfect to me and always will be.”
This is sweet, and it’s nice to see that Fine is aware of what a dad should be. Just a little messed up that everyone else will get to read the letter before the person it is addressed to.

Lil Xan pulled a gun out on a man in a 7-Eleven parking lot. The man was ridiculing the rapper for calling Tupac “boring” and called Xan names such as “little bitch”.
Lil Xan wasn’t having any of it and took out his handgun and pointed it at the man, asking “What the fuck do you want, bruh?” He also dropped the n-word as he was getting into his car.
Lil Xan continued to yell and wave his gun from inside the passenger seat. The man was filming and mocked Xan by telling him to wave the gun around more for the camera.

The rapper responded to the whole incident by posting an Instagram story, claiming that the video purposefully made him look bad and he only pulled his gun out in self defense.
I’m skeptical of Xan’s explanation since it didn’t seem like he was in any real danger in the video. The only reason he should have pulled out his gun is if the man were physically attacking him or had a gun of his own out. Maybe the guy filming had a gun out that we couldn’t see but that seems unlikely.

Former Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz was shot at a nightclub, Dial Bar and Lounge, in the Dominican Republic.
The news comes from his father, Leo Ortiz, who said that the bullet entered and exited through David’s abdomen. Although original reports stated that the injuries weren’t severe, Leo later stated that the doctors had to remove part of David’s intestines, gallbladder, and colon. He is however “out of danger” and “Big Papi will be around for a long time”.
According to ABC News, the man who shot Big Papi is Eddy Feliz Garcia, and he was roughed up by fans outside the nightclub, before being turned over to the police.
David Ortiz is currently in a hospital in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.

In an interview with the cleverly named Interview Magazine, Rihanna shared details on different aspects of her career, life, and success.
With the task of being involved in many fields besides just music, she explained that creativity is actually a motivation in and of itself. “I had one dream, and that was for my music to be heard all over the world, but the thing that keeps me passionate is being creative. With every business outlet, I’m making something from a vision to a reality, and that’s the thing I really enjoy. Music had led me to these other outlets, and to things that I genuinely love.”
I’m just going to play devil’s advocate for a second and say that this actually doesn’t surprise me much. When you’re as famous and successful as Rihanna, not many people are going to say no to you. Her vision may not even be that creative or great, but it would be simple to turn it into a reality. I envy her and I’m sure that it is super fun to come up with ideas if any of them could actually be realized if she wanted to.
