Lil Wayne had to cancel his set at Rolling Loud Festival because of a mandatory police search, which he announced on Twitter. According to his tweet, the police required that he be searched while on stadium grounds.
The tweet read, “To all my fans who came to see me at Rolling Loud, I’m sorry but I won’t be performing. The Festival Police (Not Rolling Loud) made it mandatory that I had to be policed and checked to get on the stadium grounds. I do not and will not ever settle for being policed to do my job and give you guys a great show.”
The Rolling Loud Festival co-founder Tariq Cherif issued a statement saying that there was a disturbance which led many at the festival to believe that there was a shooter at the festival and led to panic and commotion and some injuries. This was likely the reason for the search of Lil Wayne, but it is unclear.
On a lighter note, Lil Wayne tweeted later “I will be at Story tonight for the afterparty and you kan katch me on tour with my bros Blink 182 this summer!”

Thanks to late Game 7 heroics by Toronto Raptors’ Kawhi Leonard, there might be a new Drake freestyle on the way. Following the Eastern Conference Semifinals-winning buzzer beater, Drake posted a picture on Instagram of Kawhi squatting, watching as his shot bounced around the rim before dropping in. The caption read: “[G.O.A.T. emoji] Weezy for the win #2”.
Former Toronto Raptor and Six Man of the Year, Lou Williams commented on the pic, “This pic hard”, to which Drake responded, “@louwillville I would do a freestyle just to use this as the art”. Though we’ve had some unsuccessful Drake teasers before, this one might be legit because Drake is a Toronto sports super-fan. Because of the infamous “Drake curse”, he even wore Philadelphia 76ers shorts to the game in an attempt to reverse it.
Also, Lou Williams himself had a Drake track dedicated to him on Drake’s 2015 mixtape If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. His commenting on the picture might be another hint that the freestyle is truly on the horizon.
Let us know what you think the chances of a new Drake freestyle in the comments.

Live Nation has announced Logic’s upcoming tour on Monday, May 13th. It will be called The Confession of a Dangerous Mind Tour, named after the album that Logic released last week. Joining Logic will be Dreamville’s J.I.D. and Y.B.N. Cordae, the latter of which was featured on the song “Mama/Show Love”, on Logic’s album.
Starting October 5th in Vancouver and ending on November 16th in Madison, Wisconsin, the tour will have 26 dates in 26 different cities such as New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, May 17th.
Along with the most recent album, Logic has released two other albums in the past six months, YSIV and Supermarket. While this tour is named after The Confession of a Dangerous Mind, I’m sure Logic will play songs from the other two, since he hasn’t toured on those albums either.
Let us know if you plan on buying tickets in the comment section.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West have had another baby. Kim announced the arrival via Twitter earlier on Friday, “He’s here and he’s perfect!” Weighing 6 pounds, 9 ounces, the boy will join the ranks of sister Chicago (1) and North (5), and brother Saint (3). Kim said that he looks like his sister Chicago call him her “twin”, though of course not meaning that literally.
The birth came a day after Kourtney Kardashian had announced on “The Ellen Show” the surrogate mother had gone into labor, and thus was the reason Kim was not on the show with her.
Kim has said that she has been Googling Armenian boys’ names in honor of her family heritage. Thus I will do the same, and weigh in on the crucial decision that she has to make. I think she should name the young lad “Shant”.
Let us know what you think she should name him in the comments.

The lawyer of Eric Holder, the man accused of shooting Nipsey Hussle, has officially withdrawn from the case. Chris Darden stated in a Facebook post that his withdrawal is due to him and his family receiving death threats.
In the post he wrote, “After centuries of a history of black men hung from trees without trial, or after the thousands of cases of black men tried, convicted and executed without counsel … I cannot understand why in 2019 some people would deny a black man his 6th Amendment right to counsel of his choice. Or why defending such a man should invite threats not only against me but against my children too.”
Darden said that he might disclose the reasoning behind leaving the Holder case but he did issue a statement for the people sending the death threats: “To those who issued those threats to my children please pay close attention so there is no misunderstanding. Later. F**K YOU!”
I mean, of course Darden is right to be upset about the death threats to him and his children. That’s messed up and ridiculous to have received from simply defending a man who has not yet been proven guilty. That being said, should he really be surprised? Death threats are a regular thing in the world of the Internet, with celebrities receiving them for a lot less than defending the main suspect in the Nipsey Hussle murder case. Selena Gomez received them for simply dating Justin Bieber.

Some fans have been connecting several possible hints and concluded that a Drake and Taylor Swift collab is on the way. The first comes from the latest cover of Entertainment Weekly magazine, in which Taylor wears a denim jacket that has stickers of artists figures have inspired her for her upcoming album. A picture of Drake from his Hotline Bling music video is next to a sticker that reads “Track 5”, perhaps meaning that Drake is featured on the fifth track of Taylor’s album. In the magazine, Taylor was quoted complimenting Drake’s clever one-liners on tracks “Nonstop” and “Summer Games”.
There were numerous Game of Thrones stickers on the jacket of the characters Arya Stark, Sansa Stark, and Daenerys Targaryen. Drake also praised Arya Stark recently at the Billboard Music Awards, which might mean that the collaboration could be Game of Thrones-inspired.
Though I’m not a big fan of Taylor Swift’s music, I don’t actively dislike it, and I acknowledge it’s catchiness. A collaboration between her and Drake is sure to stick in my head days after I first hear it.
