Ok if you are about to have a baby with a Kardashian, you should know that everyone is going to be keeping tabs on where you are.
Khloe gave birth to their baby yesterday, April 12th, 2018. It was said that Thompson was in the delivery room. Other people in the room included Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloé’s best friend, Malika Haqq.
I guess they all had to settle their differences for the sake of the baby.
Overall it is disgusting to cheat on your pregnant wife. You can love or hate the Kardashians but no one deserves that. I hope Khloe gets herself together and dumps this guy- what a waste.
Nicki Minaj has been on a hiatus for about three years now and she is finally waking up. Just a week after Cardi B’s debut album, Nicki Minaj slapped us in the face and showed us who really is the queen of rap. Nicki seems to be gaining inspiration from the new females in rap and she has stepped up her game. For a long time Nicki’s verses felt uninspiring and overdone, but on these new tracks, she experiments with new flows and personas.
Currently, fans are in a war about what is the best song but I think I am going to have to give it to “Chun-Li.” Not only are the lyrics amazing in this song, the flow and general feeling of this song are different for Minaj. I thought Roman was going to make an appearance on the track but it feels like she is doing a toned down version of him. She is definitely channeling a personality that is mad and wants vengeance- but is also above it.
The chorus is where the song really shines:
“Ayo, I been on, bitch, you been conned Bentley tints on, Fendi prints on I mean I been Storm, X-Men been formed He keep on dialin’ Nicki like the Prince song I-I-I been on, bitch, you been conned Bentley tints on, Fendi prints on Ayo, I been off, Lara been Croft Plates say Chun-Li, drop the Benz off”
“Barbie Tingz” is also a really strong track that pokes fun at the new rappers in the game by stating that Nicki, Drake, Lil Wayne and Jay-Z were the original top three trendsetters. Is this a diss track for Cardi b and the Migos? Anyway, Cardi and Nicki have been in some drama lately due to a miscommunication on Nicki’s video and verse for their collaboration, “MotorSport.” I wouldn’t want to mess with Nicki because now you know she will drop one of the best songs in her career a week after your debut album release.
BROCKHAMPTON is a rap group that is not afraid to test the limits and cause controversy. Packed with great lines, impactful lyrics and controversial topics- their music says so much more than just a simple track. They switch it up from hard rap to light R&B ballads on their tracks which keeps the listeners on their toes.
They actually prefer the term “American boy band” rather than “rap group” which puts a funny spin on their image. They are collectively a compelling group that works with multiple graphics and visuals for their music videos to show their zany and childish spirit. They also dive into topics such as sexuality, which is typically taboo in the rap community. Not only are they talented, they are a voice for the voiceless, talking about the struggle of being a gay man.
Lawand is a 20-year-old singer from New York who is clearly very talented. Lawand grew up with her mom, dad, and older brother in small town Kingston NY. Not only is she a singer, she is also a songwriter and knows how to play the piano and the guitar. Clearly a triple threat- she is sure to get her big break soon.
She just released a cover of “Love Lies” by Khalid and Norman which shows her beautiful voice.
Check out the cover here:
Lawand has worked her whole life to perfect her craft. She has been singing since the day she was born. Her interest in music started with her parents exposing her to the greats such as Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Billy Idol, and Madonna.
She started singing in church at only five years old under the ministry of her mother. She started playing the piano at the age of four and taught herself guitar. At the age of fourteen, she started to perform more regularly when she joined her high school choir, which included a solo every year. She also got the opportunity to perform at the pristine Carnegie Hall her senior year of high school.
Obviously, she is a singer who is dedicated and talented to pursue her goal to get into the music industry. She is a very versatile artist and you can expect to see more of her in the future.

April 5th, the day before Cardi B’s debut album dropped she sat down with Ebro Darden from New York’s Hot 97 to discuss the behind the scenes coverage of the making of her album Invasion of Privacy.
Listen to the interview here:
The 30-minute long interview discusses how all the tracks on the album were produced, created and born into what they are today. She also addresses the rumors surrounding her by stating that everything on the internet is made up- isn’t it always?
She sits and talks about her past and opens up about how some tracks were hard to put on the record because they were so personal. Tracks like “Get up 10” get really vulnerable but she felt like she had to tell her story since so many people have doubted her and have hated her for just being herself. People don’t realize that she is not just the face that sung “Bodak Yellow,” she is a person who has worked her whole life to get where she is now and the road was rough. This interview really does show that side of her and it was done really well.
She might have been holding back her personality for this interview, but it was nice to see her taking it seriously.
After listening to the album in full, you can really see how thankful Cardi is for everyone who was featured on the record. She stated that everyone was so helpful even with their extremely busy schedules, and not only were those artists willing to be featured on the tracks, they did it perfectly. Not every album that comes out is pure gold.
