Freddie Gibbs and Madlib linked up on this new song of theirs by the name of “Flat Tummy Tea.” It’s pretty dope if you ask me! Listen to it below and let us know what you think.
A brand new record with R&B singer Kehlani and Dom Kennedy surfaced this morning and is all hot as hell! While We Wait for Kehlani‘s project to drop in a few days, she’s got another song titled “Nunya” for us to hang on to. This Kanye West and Hit-Boy produced track is hands down my favorite from her so far.
This may be a smooth track… but don’t let it fool you because this R&B princess set the record straight on this one! Old exes and f*ck boys always come back around when they see you doing well, anyway d believe me babygirl is doing better without him. Kehlani gives no f*cks. With a daughter on the way and tons of money to generate, none of us have a choice but to stay out of her business. Watch the new video to “Nunya” below and see what’s up. Kehlani doesn’t get the credit she deserves!
Pete from QC is changing gears and reaching outside the norm to add new talent to his already impressive roster of artists. Qc adds Youtube singer Layton Greene too lead the R&B side the label was lacking. Layton Greene is a 20-year-old female from St.Louis Missouri that blew up from her cover of Kodak Black “Roll in Peace,” track that received over 26 million views on Youtube back in December of 2017.
She only released a hand full of tracks after that with her most recent track “Myself” gaining over 9 million views on Youtube. She also did a cover of Derez De’Shon “Fed Up” that she called “Fed Up Remix” which gained 18 million views.
Not much else is known about her, but with QC now backing her it’s only a matter of time before the whole world knows her story. Pete is really putting QC in the conversation for the best record label and 2019 might be solidify it.
Desiigner took on the Thotiana remix today and killed it! Listen to it below and tell us your thoughts on it. Which “Thotiana” remix is your favorite by far? I like Nicki Minaj‘s version the best to be honest.
In honor of Black History Month, Roots lyricist Black Thought and Midnight Hour delivered a new track to us today titled, “Noir“. Check it out as Thought runs this Adrian Younge-produced instrumental with his dense lyrics and conscious story-telling.
Lil Uzi Vert dropped off a new visual today to Tisakorean‘s “DIP” remix titled “Closin It“. After announcing his early retirement from the industry, him, 10K Caash, and a group of viral Instagram dancers linked up for this dope home video. Watch it below and let us know if y’all rock in’ with it.
