I’m so happy we finally have August Alsina back especially knowing everything he had to deal with in regards to label problems, mental, physical, and emotional problems. Of course August makes his return on valentine’s day dropping an 8-Track Ep “Forever and A Day“, while also securing a feature from R&B hook maker TY Dolla Sign on ” Control“.

This project is vintage August, using his amazing voice to seduce and mesmerize the females listening. August does an amazing job of giving you music that can set the mood no matter what stage your in with this special lady. With tracks like “Forever and a Day” and “Be Love” you can tell your future girl exactly what you can offer her while also letting her know she’s very important to you.

Now for the guys that just want to tell his girl that he can’t live without her than “Contol” featuring Ty and “Secret” are the perfect tracks for you. The two R&B singers mesh well together on “Control” singing lyrics “Please stay around me because I know how I’ll be lost until you found me.” Then on the track “Secret” August makes it easy for you to tell her ” It’s no secret that I’m in love with you/ even if I was blind it would still be easy to see you the one for me.” This line her will definitely put her in her feelings while looking at you struggling to hit those hits August masterful hits with ease.

It wouldn’t be an August project if it didn’t feature some type of music for those imitate moments that hopefully many of us achieved on Valentine’s day. With the track “Lost” this slow jam is perfect for those dim light and a candlelit scene that females yearn for.

August return is very beneficial for the music game because he is so talented especially with the whole king of R&B discussion going on. Hopefully, this won’t be the last time we hear from him because he is the perfect example of ” If you going through hell why stop there? Just keep going until you make it out” or I think that’s how the quote goes, just don’t quote me on it.
