[Music] Jay Z makes the song “Brooklyn Go Hard” available on to stream on Tidal

Jay Z has made the song “Brooklyn Go Hard”, featuring Santigold, available on Tidal. This is likely due to the Brooklyn Nets signing three of the best available free agents: Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Deandre Jordan.

Beforehand, the song could only be downloaded, but now it can be streamed on Tidal. The news was confirmed by Tidal’s Editorial Director Elliot Wilson, who shared the song on his own Instagram. It is also interesting to note that Kevin Durant is signed to Jay Z’s label Roc-a-fella Records, who released the song.

[News] Lil Nas X comes out as gay on Twitter

Over the weekend, Lil Nas X came out as gay on Twitter. In the tweet, he wrote that he thought his orientation was obvious: by zooming in on the rainbow patterns on the buildings of his 7 EP and a closer examination of c7osure. “Some of y’all already know, some of y’all don’t care, some of y’all not gone fwm no more. but before this month ends i want y’all to listen closely to c7osure,” it said in the tweet ending with a rainbow emoji.

The reactions among the fans have been mixed, with some maintaining their support and others renouncing theirs. Lil Nas X didn’t call out the fans with the latter reaction, only giving them a short and sweet “LMAO”.

It’s refreshing to see the artist of the most popular song of the year, “Old Town Road”, come out on the last day of Pride Month. I think that his fan base is young enough that the decision shouldn’t be too detrimental, and may even increase the support of some fans.

The picture is of MGK as a kid, upside down with the top part of his head cut off. Machine Gun Kelly seemed like he was about to become irrelevant a couple years ago, but his beef with Eminem helped him resurface some popularity. Let’s see if he’s able to ride the wave with this upcoming album

[News] Rich the Kid forced to pay $11,000 a month in child support

[News] Rich the Kid forced to pay $11,000 a month in child support

Rich the Kid will have to pay $11,000 a month after settling his divorce with his ex-wife.

Last year, Antoinette Willis, Rich’s ex, filed for divorce, accusing the rapper of cheating often during their marriage. The judge decided that Rich would have to pay that fee to support the two children that he had with Willis.

Rich has added another kid into his family, this time with model Tori Brixx. Does that mean if he divorces her, he will have to pay $5,500 a month? Just wondering.

[News] R Kelly’s lawyers asks judge to dismiss case

[News] R Kelly’s lawyers asks judge to dismiss case

R Kelly and his attorney have asked the judge to dismiss one of the sex abuse lawsuits. This is one of the four alleged victims.

This suit was filed on February 21, in which the accuser claimed that she was sexually abused by Kelly when she was a minor in 1998. The debate arises because it wasn’t until years later that the victim became aware of her abuser, while in therapy. R Kelly’s legal team is arguing that the statute of limitations to file the lawsuit expired long ago. They said that the victim had until 2002 to file a claim for damages, but state law states that the victim has up to 20 years from “the date the person abused discovers” the abuse to take action.

The plaintiff’s attorney said that Kelly’s lawyers have the right to do this, but that it will be dismissed and will only prolong the case. Things don’t look good for the singer and it seems like his legal team are struggling for answers.

[Music] Chance the Rapper releases Acid Rap and 10 Day mixtapes on streaming services

Chance the Rapper has released both Acid Rap and 10 Day on Apple Music and Spotify. Previously, these mixtapes were only available on Soundcloud. In a tweet, Chance announced the move as well as exclusive vinyl and merch on CHANCERAPS.com.

Chance also shared the news that his new album will be coming out in July. Not only has Chance been tweeting simply the words “July TBD”, he’s even changed his Twitter handle to “Chance The Rapper Album in July”.

This album should be pretty good, as it is his first full-length solo project since 2016’s Coloring Book.
