{MUSIC] DJ KHALED DROPS VIDEO FOR “HIGHER”

DJ Khaled long awaited album “Father of Ashad”, is here and the first single to get a music video is none other than the track that shows Nipsey Hussle living for the last time. It was no mystery that Khaled and Nipsey were working together on music, but money wondered if we would see what they working on since the sudden pasting of Nipsey. But today Khaled blessed us with the video and I promise you that nostalgic feeling will hit especially after hearing Nipsey verse.

[Music] Old Town Road gets a music movie instead of video

Old Town Road is so revolutionary, it skipped right over having a music video and instead has a music movie. It starts in 1889 with Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus taking shelter after their last successful bank robbery. When they’re chased off by a cowboy, Lil Nas X accidentally dives down a wormhole and arrives in 2019. Confused by modern day streets, Lil Nas X eventually joins up with Chris Rock and Billy Ray Cyrus and they go to a Western-themed bingo hall.

The 5-minute movie is every bit as fun as the song, and really brings the latter to life. In a similar fashion to the movie, when Lil Nas X originally uploaded the song, he set the song to footage of his character in Red Dead Redemption 2.

[News] Cardi B faces defamation lawsuit from blogger for $1 million

[News] Cardi B faces defamation lawsuit from blogger for $1 million

Cardi B has been sued $1 million by blogger Latasha K for alleged defamation charges. According to The Blast, the blogger, who has 500,000 YouTube subscribers, received death threats after Cardi B told “lies” about her on social media.

The site obtained court documents in which Latasha K admits to making a video with fellow blogger Starmarie Ebony Jones accusing Cardi B of using drugs and contracting sexual transmitted infections.

After the video got popular, Cardi asked K to take the video down, but K refused and asked Cardi to appear in an interview. The Grammy award winning rapper declined the invitation, and sued Latasha K for defamation. According to TMZ, Cardi accused the blogger of saying that her baby Kulture would be born with “intellectual disabilities” because of Cardi’s drug use during her pregnancy.

K said: “Cardi B began to publicly defame Ms. Kebe, referring to her as ‘this blogger lady, by stating that Ms. Kebe makes up fake stories; harasses all of Cardi B’s friends; constantly stalks Cardi B; falsely claims that she has legitimate sources giving her information about Cardi B; uses Cardi B’s name for ‘click bait’; and many other false accusations.”

K began receiving threats from gangs, and a lot of harassment both online and in person. We’ll see who’s right and who’s wrong in this case, and if Cardi has really been overstepping the fine line, she should be punished.

[News] Trey Songz might be a father

[News] Trey Songz might be a father

Might be a false alarm, but I suspect Trey Songz just had a baby.

The rapper recently posted a black and white photo on Instagram of a baby’s right foot grasped by an adult male’s hand. He captioned the photo with a blue heart emoji, which likely means that the baby is a boy.

Fans and celebrities alike commented on the photo congratulating Trey on the new baby boy. Actress Sharina Gutierrez commented “You were meant to be a daddy” while singer Kehlani appeared slightly more excited, commenting “Finally HAHAAAAA YES!!!” It is interesting why she included the “HAHAAAAA” and could mean that she is on the conspiracy that Trey Songz faked the birth of his baby boy.

Other comments on the post weren’t so overtly positive. One user commented on how Trey just wants attention while another questioned if the pic is of Trey and his newly born nephew from a few months ago.

There is more to the story. Back in December 2018, The Shade Room posted a sonogram of adult actress Brittney Jones. Jones said that it was her and Trey’s baby and after people accused her of faking the image, she stood by her original statement.

We will likely have an answer to this riddle very soon.

[News] Money from Nipsey Hussle and DJ Khaled collaboration to go to Nipsey’s son

[News] Money from Nipsey Hussle and DJ Khaled collaboration to go to Nipsey’s son

With a very classy move, DJ Khaled is donating the profits from his Nipsey Hussle collaboration to Nipsey’s kid. The song is called “Higher” and the two were in the midst of working on the music video when Nipsey was murdered a month and a half ago. In an Instagram post, Khaled wrote that everyone involved in the making of the song has agreed to donate the money to Kross Ashghedom, Nipsey’s son with girlfriend Lauren London.

It was clear that Nipsey Hussle’s sudden passing really affected Khaled. He said in the post, “”It began when a tragedy robbed the world of an enlightened soul, a brother, a father, a partner and my friend, Nipsey Hussle. Just days prior, he shared his energy and positivity with me on a video set for a song called ‘Higher.’” Nipsey seemed to have that effect on people that knew him, that he was really some kind of enlightened saint-like figure.

The song features John Legend on the hook and is set to be released on DJ Khaled’s highly anticipated album Son of Asahd this Friday. I’ll feel better when I stream this song on Friday, knowing that it might in some way help Nipsey’s son continue his father’s legacy.
