[Music] Beast Coast Announces New Tour

Joey Bada$$ announced this afternoon a new tour under the moniker Beast Coast. It’s a collaborative group that previously went on tour back in 2013, but now have revamped and added new names to the collective. The “Escape From New York Tour” will feature Joey Bada$$, Flatbush Zombies, The Underachievers, Kirk Knight, Nyck Caution, Powers Pleasant, and CJ Fly. Tickets for the tour will be on sale this Friday.

The group released their first track yesterday, titled “Left Hand.” Presumably, this should mark the first release of more music to come from this collaboration. Their new project should be coming this April so be on watch for new tracks.

[Music] NEW VIDEO- Juice WRLD- Hear Me Calling

Juice WRLD dropped a new video for the track “Hear Me Calling” off his new album “Death Race For Love.” I wrote a review for this album on Friday and this was one of my least favorite tracks. While the song was not my favorite, I do have to say the video is really fun to watch. It’s pretty much Juice making his own version of a GTA video game as he is in hot pursuit of his girl; very fitting for his album artwork. I liked the video a lot, the song… not so much.

Let me know what you think. Did you like the song? Leave a comment below and follow us on Twitter and Instagram @SloppyVinyl.

[Music] NEW VIDEO- 2 Chainz- Rule The World ft. Ariana Grande

A week after he dropped his latest album “Rap or Go To The League,” 2 Chainz released a new video this afternoon. “Rule The World” features Ariana Grande on both the track and video. The video takes place inside of an old fashioned night club that glooms with gold to match the album cover, and the beat on this track is lighter, providing a more classic feel to it, naturally synching with the environment in the video.

The album has received solid reviews across the board since it’s release, and having people like Ariana Grande on your record will certainly help it do numbers considering she has been on fire since the release of her album “Sweetner” last fall. The songs great, the albums great, and so is the video.

[Music] Hozier Stopped by the NYC Subway for a Surprise Show and Killed It

Hozier stopped by the New York City subway this weekend to sing some tunes for the “Big Apple” commuters. There isn’t much else to say, other than the fact that he crushed it. He sang a rendition of his hit song “Take Me To Church” and sounds just as good, if not better than the studio version. It’s really an incredible video to watch and if you haven’t heard the original version I implore you to go check it out before watching this video. Shoutout to NYC, this stuff doesn’t happen anywhere else.

[Music] Drake Removes Michael Jackson Song from Setlist on U.K. Tour

Drake is making the rounds on his European tour and has dropped his song “Don’t Matter To Me” from his setlist. The song features vocals from Michael Jackson who has recently received some damaging claims about sexual misconduct with minors.

Jackson has been the subject of criticism in the new HBO Docuseries “Leaving Neverland” and there has been some serious backlash against the late pop star. Radio stations have stopped playing his music and an episode of “The Simpsons” was removed from the archives due to an appearance from Jackson.

Drake is arguably the biggest artist to come forth and actually make a decision against Jackson based off of the claims, so it will be interesting to see if anymore people speak out against the “King of Pop.”

The city of Pittsburgh payed homage to Mac Miller by re-naming one of their local parks after him. The late rapper named his debut studio album after Blue Slide Park, and now the city is showing their respect for Miller, his family, and his fans by giving the park his namesake.

Back in September, Miller tragically passed away from an accidental drug overdoes inside his California home. He was just 26 years old and had just released his Grammy nominated record “Swimming.” Miller was slated to go on tour within the next few weeks before his passing.

Mac’s fans gathered at Blue Slide Park a few days after his passing to honor his legacy and listen to his music together. The site will now forever bare the name of the Pittsburgh native and be a landmark site for Mac Miller fans everywhere. Mac may be gone from the world, but his music will live on forever.
