Denzel Curry dropped a new song today titled “Aloha.” The track was produced by Charlie Heat, the second collaboration between the two, and the first since the release of “SUMO/ZUMO” off of Curry’s last album. This track is all about the production, piping in some funky horns backed by a thundering bass. Curry mixes in some different types of flows throughout the chorus and verses that mix well with the smoothness of the horns and the claps of the bass. It’s a solid new track from these two and they seem to be building a nice little rapport with one another.

The Black Keys have released their new single “Lo/Hi” with an announcement coming via Instagram. This marks the first release from the Akron duo since they dropped their last studio album “Turn Blue” back in 2014.
The single sounds like a return to form for the group after receiving mixed reviews on their last project. It sounds more similar to the stuff off “El Camino,” bringing in a real bluesy sound led by a catchy guitar riff from lead singer/guitarist Dan Auerbach. Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney haven’t missed a beat, even after a five year hiatus. If this single is any indicator of the direction of their sound, it seems that they want to go back to their roots of what launched them into the mainstream.
No word yet on any other music, but this single should mark the start of the next album rollout. To hold you off, I recommend the whole Black Keys catalog, as well as Auerbach’s solo project “Waiting on a Song.”

Radio stations around the world banned Michael Jackson’s music. The decision was made after HBO released ‘Leaving Neverland’ documentary. His music is ban from Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. As a right now, more radio stations over the world are taking the same steps to stop playing his music. However, some stations are fighting back because they don’t want to pull the late singer’s music from the lineups.
In Montreal, three major stations stopped playing the artist’s music as a result of child abuse. The documentary aired Sunday in HBO, and it starts with the victims talking about how Jackson portrayed himself. The film includes the victim’s parents talking about all the factors that contributed to this tragedy. A lot of stations pulled Jackson’s music Monday morning.
Leaving Neverland first premiered in January at the Sundance Film Festival. The film gives details the abuse allegations of the kids ‘who had previously denied Jackson molested them when the two were children’ (CBC, 2019).
Without his label’s permission, Lil Xan re-dropped one of his newest records alongside $teven Cannon by the name of “I Might“. Except this time he picked up YBN Nahmir and YBN Almighty Jay for win. Check the rappers out as they rhyme to this Kinfolk production and let us know if you rocking with it.
