Hey Indo!, the Golden Boy, sat down with B.Able saxophone player, rapper and singer from Morristown, NJ. In an exclusive one on one interview he sat down with Indo to talk about his come up in music, and the challenges he faces as an Austic person.
Indo: What made you change your name?
B.Able: What made me change my name is the fact that I actually got a new job outside of my music industry and that’s a big full time accounting job and I want to make sure that when I change my name it has to be something that relates to me, and it can’t be connection with my real name.
Indo: How did you get started in creating music?
B.Able: I um… ever since I was nine years old I actually learned how to play Clarinet, step up to bass clarinet, switch to Tenor Saxophone. I just recently played Saprano Saxphone earlier this year and what I been doing is I was just playing in bands local groceries, near my school bands and marching bands. When I was 15 I begun writing songs, I started rapping. I didn’t take it seriously until I was about 23.
B.Able: With that being said I think what really changed my perspective of was the best Essex competitions and which I saw all these rappers performing and at best Essex’s I actually wrapped for the first time and that feedback I got inspired me to keep going and really take it seriously professionally.
Indo: So you really begin making professional music professionally for about a year. How has that year been for you?
B.Able: Blessing…truly been a blessing because I never thought that I would be close or know so many people in this NJ arts underground community. I am overly greatful for the friends I made, the people I created with, and network with.
Indo: Who are some of your musical influences?
B.Able: My most musical influences are the Notorious B.I.G, Bow Wow those are my influences. Bow wow was my favorite rapper growing up when I was a kid. And biggie small and I been recently getting into his flow of style of music. I love all classical music but Frank Sinatra is a big influence..
Indo: Doesthatinfluenceyourownmusic?
B.Able: Definitely, my second song was actually based of my love bora Latin music. Because I’ve taken Spanish in highschool and college so I learned a lot.
B.Able: The reason why I find my passion, was because I wanted to show that people with austim, people that have disabilities can do possibly anything that they want to do, and that’s the reason behind my stage name…is that although I am disable I am in fact able to do anything my mind puts me to.
Whatdoyouhavegoingonnow? What song do you have out?
B.Able: Avatar! Have you ever heard last day of bender and avatar legend of Cora those songs are based on that. One of those trap songs that get stuck in your head, it’s a song I really like. It was influence by actually by another Artist I really like… my friend Glen.
Indo: IsitoniTunes?
B.Able: It’s on Soundcloud not iTunes yet. It was named by a producer. But definitely will be streamed on souncloud.
Indo: What’s next for BeAble?
B.Able: What next for me on the horizon… performing on more showcases, doing more songs. I want to be an Artist. I definitely like being in the studio.
Indo: Is there anything that you want to leave your fans with? What would you tell them?
B.Able: There will be new music out, definitely coming soon… and the other the thing I want to say to all my fans is thank you. Thank you for supporting me and my career, thank you for following my message, thank you for believing my message and I promise you that I will keep working, and that I will keep performing and I will keep being humble.

You would think since announcing her pregnancy with a baby girl, the singer would be getting nothing but love and support, but that has not been the case at all.
In an interview with Nylon, the singer opened up about the backlash she has endured in response to her pregnancy and identifying as queer. Since her hit single “Honey” fans have clung to the singer titling her the “Queer Icon,” which is a title Kehlani states she was never eager to claim.
“I’ve gotten everything from ‘I thought she was lesbian’ to ‘she was using queerness to promote her career, then went and betrayed us with a man’ to ‘her baby father is just a sperm donor,'” she says, explaining the reactions she has received from her fan base.
She adds that “I never identified as a lesbian. I’ve always been pansexual. My first mixtape included songs about males, and songs about women.” The singer has also been very vocal about giving credit to those individuals who are doing way more for the LGBTQ community than she is, “there are people out there in this community fighting for equality in realer ways than making songs about it and performing at events like I am.”
The “Distraction” singer also addressed her fans in the interview informing them that though she loves being a member of the LGBTQ community, she is an artist first. The singer included that having a light shining on every aspect of her life is something she does not like.
The artist ended her interview with explaining to her fans that nothing matters more than your comfortability. “I also saw a lot of discomfort with the use of the word ‘queer,’ hinting that its used for folks to run away from identifying with a more ‘solidified’ term like bi/lesbian/gay/pan,” she exclaimed “my response is whatever makes you feel your safest, in your truest identity, you should identify as such without being policed by the same community you are supposed to feel most safe with.”
I totally agree with Kehlani and believe she should be getting nothing but love and happiness instead of hate and negativity.
Make sure you comment down below what you thought about the magazine interview.
Lorde is claiming Kanye West stole her set designs.
In a series of Instagram Stories, the “Green Light” singer shared images of her tour stage along with similar-looking set-ups from West’s performances.
She finished the post with a final thought, “I’m proud of the work I do and it’s flattering when other artists feel inspired by it, to the extent that they choose to try it on themselves. But don’t steal not from women or anyone else not in 2018 or ever.”
Lorde calls out Kanye West for stealing her box stage idea: A few hours ago, controversy arose when Kanye West and Kid Cudi performed on a floating stage, a replica of Lorde’s – a female artist’s – North American Tour staple. (via lordemusic’s instagram stories) pic.twitter.com/nqp3vPFGz8
The “Green Light” singer has also called West her “idol” in a past Billboard interview.
In a 2017 interview with Spinoff, Lorde said she worked with Es Devlin on the glass box-type designs. “It’s hard to come up with stuff that feels new, and with the tank it felt weird and interesting and quite specific to me,” she said. “The two of us just built it from the ground up, bouncing ideas back and forth.”
It felt so good being on the stage last night with my brother Cudi. After performing again, I realize the new album I’ve been working on isn’t ready yet. I’ll announce the release date once it’s done. Thank you for understanding.
West tweeted about the performance, writing, “It felt so good being on the stage last night with my brother Cudi. After performing again, I realize the new album I’ve been working on isn’t ready yet. I’ll announce the release date once it’s done.”

If Young Metro don’t trust you imma shot you, its relaxing hearing that again on an opening track.
This must have been a calling from God because were receiving a nice packaged Metro Boomin project this past week. After hinting towards retirement earlier this year we havent heard anything from the zone 6 producer until now. Popping back up on the scene with an 13 track album ” Not ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES”, Metro puts together a star-studded cast with Gucci Mane, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Gunna, Swae Lee and many others throughout the album. Metro definitely been brewing this project together for a while because literally every tracks beat is fire and that’s an understatement. Many producers try to release projects of their own or try to team up with artist for joint projects but Metro has the blueprint for it.
This project will bring fans of all kinds together, not only are artist like 21 Savage, Travis Scott, and Gunna the highlight of the album, but we also get a glimpse of “Slime Season” Thugger on “Up to Something”, and ” Lesbian” (FT. Gunna), like “Barter 6” was fine but nothing is topping Slime Season Thug. Travis Scott and Metro must have a bromance behind the scenes because he is littered thought the project making appearances on 5 tracks, which is why Travis feels overused on ” Overdue“, Travis has been on a run in 2018 proving this is his year without question. 21 Savage makes a couple of appearances though out the album but nothing will top his already famous whispering verse on “Dont Come Out the House“, making fun of various rappers while threatening people as usually. Get high and listen to “Space Cadet”(Ft. Gunna) and you tell me Gunna not primed to not only run the game but have multiple people try to bite his flow. Gunna flow makes any beat sound mesmerizing and you will get caught in his hypnosis. I really hope Swae Lee and Travis arent beefing because their chemistry and vibe on ” Dreamcatcher” makes you yearn for more music from these two. This track is definitely a late night car ride or cyph session kind of music with Swae Lee melodic voice.
Metro made his return and we should be grateful for it and hope he doesn’t take another long hiatus, or maybe we should pray he does again if the results will be like this. Every track goes on this album without question with every kind of vibe being pleased.Metro is the unquestioned #1 producer in the game with only Tay Keith ( who also makes an appearance on the album) coming in a close 2nd, while also primed for his run to start soon. Not much to dislike from this project, amazing replay value and cohesive 5 outta 5 from me.
On their debut collaborative album, R&B’s most soulful singers harmonize together for a sexual healing and love pursuit project.
Jeremih and TY Dolla $ign are unquestionably the most popular people when it comes to doing hooks for people outside of Swae Lee. With these three doing your hook or ad-libs that track is practical guaranteed for success. These two have a couple of tracks together especially on TY Dolla last album ” Beach House 3” all club bangers. But these two and their favorite producer Hitmaka have made an album that’s very reminiscent of the 90’s R&B music that most of us grew up on.
This album meshes will and puts you in the mindset like you can sweet talk any girl you want. This album has 11 tracks with features coming from only French Montana and Chris Brown. The album starts off with a fumbled diamond with “The Light” that should have been the featured single during the summer. But the album as quite a few mood changing songs for those car rides with your girl like “FYT” (FT. French Montana) which is a flip of Biggies classic ” Fuck You Tonight” it’s a good reenactment, but it could have been a fresh classic instead of a modern R&B revamp of the orignal.
Then followed up by “Perfect Timing” which should be a stand out track with TY and Jeremih going back and forth. Jeremih holds down the hook “Hands on yo’body/ This perfect timing / Every time you get around me, this perfect timing”. This line right here can set the vibe during that car ride with the girl you’re in the process of shooting your shot with. The vibe continues with the Dru Hill flip of ” In My Bed” on “New Level” which you play when with a girl who is tied down by a bozo. Honesty this is the perfect song when you know your better than her boyfriend with TY and Jeremih flexing their chemistry in the beginning of the verse ” I’m trying’ to put you on that level/ You know you could do much better”. Then Jeremih takes it away with the smooth hook” You been so incomplete/ You been fell in too deep/ Wish i could read your mind”. Calm straight to the point song so she gets the messages.
If you’re looking for a vibe change it starts with “These Days” which is a song for when you level up on people. With Jeremih holding down the hook ” Things a little different these days/ Feel a little different these days/ Same old nigga, same old nigga/ I just move a little different these days”. We all had this kind of moment when that level up hits and its time to move different. Ty even gives you a line to flex on ole’ girl that didn’t want you before the glo up “I got money on my mind/ Another woman try to bang my line/ Told her don’t waste your time”. Being able to flex on people who doubted you is top 5 best feeling ever.
Toward the end of the album TY and Jeremih talk more about their insecurities and desires for love on “Lie 2 Me“, “Ride It“, and ‘Imitate” in terms of cohesives this is probably the best part of the album. The album as a whole leaves a lot to be desired which you wouldn’t expect from artist with a strong pen game. The track “Surrounded”( FT. Chris Brown) is wasteful unless you love Chris Brown. Both TY and Jeremih were very relaxed during the process of the album which was a detriment to it. They have chemistry together but it only shows on a few tracks rather than the whole project. This project would have served better for the summer time but for unknown reasons it was pushed back until now. If these artist weren’t so high profiled and certified this project would have been amazing, but because of who they are and their accolades you would expect more from them.
