Uzi comes back today with an nsfw music video today. It’s been a while since we have seen Uzi because of his behind the scene label trouble with New Generation. But with the help of our own personal black superhero Jay-Z we have not only received 2 new songs, but also a nude filled video for “That’s a Rack”. Check out the video down below
We got a new video from new artists, Mak Bandz and Smoola. The video features the track “Zippers,” which is the first single off the pair’s upcoming EP, titled 2 Deep In, scheduled to drop in May.
The Cincinnati tandem dropped their trap anthem accompanied by a pretty sweet visual directed by AI. The song has a looped traditional trap beat, with a piano commanding the most attention. It’s simple, which makes it easy on the ears and a conventional catchy track.
Mak and Smoola take turns trading verses on this thing. The best way I can describe the sound of the track, is by comparing the duo to a hybrid version of Migos and ScHoolboy Q. They both have the capabilities to handle a verse and chorus on their own, but based off this track alone, the chemistry and fit is apparent. This song exhibits the pure rap prowess from both artists, and proves that they can a song that would fit in with the modern rap record.
Aside from the actual song, the visual is a solid production. It’s all edited well and made good use of its locations. The hallway silhouettes and use of the crawl space gives the viewer a good sense of the environment, as well as matching the tone of the song. The highlight of the video is the transitions and different color lighting that is featured throughout. The red and green lighting add a flare to the video and breathes life into the whole aesthetic of the track.
This is only the beginning of Mak Bandz and Smoola. A strong debut from the duo, with more music due out in May.

Kehlani AND 6Lack are a duo that should continue working together. their voices mesh so well together with the energy they put out will have the audience one wave. ScHoolboy Q dropped his video for “CHopstix” yesterday. The second single from ScHoolboy has been heavily promoted as a part of his upcoming album release. The song also has a second video that was released a few days that is a ballet performance loop that is featured in the full length video. This new release has a much higher production value and is shot entirely in black and white.
Personally, I’m not the biggest fan of the song, but the video has a decent aesthetic to pair with the music. The “Numb Numb Juice” song and video are a much stronger pairing for ScHoolboy’s skill set. This one falls a bit flat.

Anderon .Paak dropped a new video for his single “Make It Better” off his upcoming album Ventura. .Paak has kept himself busy lately, with this new project slated just five months after his previous release. This new track is a bit of a throwback to Malibu era .Paak; way more rhythmic and soulful than some stuff that’s been on previous records.
.Paak is at his best when he’s making songs that are light on the ears, not that he isn’t capable of making a good rap song, it’s just a more refreshing vibe to have tracks like this one. This new single sounds like it could easily be a Bruno Mars song, but .Paak is able to put his own spin onto it.
.Paak is slated to play Coachella in the next few weeks, as well as more tour dates that run through the end of June. His album Ventura is set to be released on April 12.
