ScHoolboy Q is back. Earlier today, ScHoolboy dropped a new single titled “Numb Numb Juice” along with a new music video. It’s been three years since he last dropped new music, but based off this song he hasn’t missed a beat.
The track comes in at just under two minutes with Q spitting over a heavy beat. It’s a stripped back, pure rap song that isn’t here to play into any kind of pop influence, yet it’s really catchy.
The music video is excellent and is filled with references, most notably the homage to Elon Musk for when he smoked weed on The Joe Rogan Experience. He even nailed the eyebrow raise.
ScHoolboy brings along some guests on the video featuring both Tyler the Creator and Ma$e. Tyler recreates a scene from the 1998 movie “Belly” and Ma$e dons the famous red jumpsuits from the “Mo Money Mo Problems” video alongside ScHoolboy.
This release should begin the rollout of ScHoolboy’s fifth studio album. There are no details on when more music is coming, but it’s something to keep an eye on moving forward.

Juice WRLD dropped a new video for the track “Hear Me Calling” off his new album “Death Race For Love.” I wrote a review for this album on Friday and this was one of my least favorite tracks. While the song was not my favorite, I do have to say the video is really fun to watch. It’s pretty much Juice making his own version of a GTA video game as he is in hot pursuit of his girl; very fitting for his album artwork. I liked the video a lot, the song… not so much.

A week after he dropped his latest album “Rap or Go To The League,” 2 Chainz released a new video this afternoon. “Rule The World” features Ariana Grande on both the track and video. The video takes place inside of an old fashioned night club that glooms with gold to match the album cover, and the beat on this track is lighter, providing a more classic feel to it, naturally synching with the environment in the video.
The album has received solidreviews across the board since it’s release, and having people like Ariana Grande on your record will certainly help it do numbers considering she has been on fire since the release of her album “Sweetner” last fall. The songs great, the albums great, and so is the video.

I guess things have calm down in the Dreamville camp as J.I.D was able to drop off a music video for another track off his “Dicaprio 2” album. Next month the highly anticipated Dreamville album is coming and i’m sure J.I.D has some fire verses on there.
