Lebron James has given new teammate Anthony Davis number 23, according to Yahoo Sports. This is likely in an effort to make Davis feel more comfortable on his new team, after being traded to Los Angeles on June 15. Davis apparently appreciated the kind gesture, according to sources.
It is unclear which number Lebron will wear instead, with the obvious choice being the same number he wore in Miami, 6. The numbers 8, 13, 22, 24, 25, 32, 33, 34, 42, 44 and 52 are retired by the Lakers so just don’t pick any of those.
Friday morning, Dennis Rodman appeared on ESPN’s First Take to share his opinion on which team would win in their primes, the Golden State Warriors or his Chicago Bulls.
Naturally, Rodman choice the Bulls and even had a message to deliver to the Warriors’ Draymond Green: ““Keep getting your teeth straight, honey. And listen to your mama.”
Realizing that he might have went too far, Rodman said that Draymond was a great player and defender, likely to save face.
That was a rough finals loss for the Warriors as I’m sure they believe they could’ve won if KD and Klay didn’t go down. Way to really rub it in, Dennis.
Kobe Bryant’s wife Vanessa have announced the birth of their fourth child, Capri Kobe Bryant. Yes, “Kobe” is her middle name.
The two shared the news on Instagram and that Capri Kobe, aka “Coco”, was born on Thursday. “So thankful for our newest baby blessing,” Vanessa said in her post, “Capri Kobe Bryant.” Kobe wrote in his Instagram post, “We are beyond excited that our baby girl ‘Koko’ has arrived #BryantBunch #4princesses #blessed.”
This will be the fourth daughter of Kobe. He had recently done an interview with Extra in which he revealed how much Vanessa wants a boy, “I think she wants a boy more than I do. I love having girls — I’m super, super excited about that. She is as well. She wanted a boy so he can be mama’s boy forever — that sort of thing. We’ll see if I can deliver, I don’t know.”
I don’t think it’s too insensitive to want a boy, as I think being able to get to raise both genders is ideal.
If you told me before Klay and KD got injured that the Toronto Raptors are going to win the NBA Finals and the WWE is going to send them a custom championship belt, I wouldn’t have believed your very specific prediction. But that’s exactly what happened. The WWE is also sending one to the St Louis Blues who just won the Stanley Cup.
The WWE has been sending out these custom championship belts to every NBA team that has won the finals since 2013. Triple H posted a tweet related to the belt, as well as finding a way to mention that Summer Slam is happening in Toronto on August 11th. Well played Mr. Three H’s
