A new ScHoolboy Q track was released briefly on Spotify before being pulled titled “CHopstix.” ScHoolboy played a small bit of the track during his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon a few weeks ago, but not the whole song. The single from ScHoolboy’s new album also features Travis Scott, who handles the chorus on this one.
This release is the second single for the LA rapper’s album rollout and the follow up to “Numb Numb Juice.” This one is way more laid back than the aforementioned track, with a little spacier sounding production. It’s a smooth track all the way through, I just wish ScHoolboy let Travis do something more than just the hook.
The track release is a bit of surprise considering ScHoolboy had said earlier in the week, he didn’t want to release new music as he mourns the loss of fellow rapper and friend Nipsey Hussle. The track must have been a scheduled release on Spotify and wasn’t pulled down in time. It’s no longer available on Spotify, but it is on the YouTube link above.

According to CBS Los Angeles, the main suspect in the death of Nipsey Hussle has been captured. The man is 29-year old Eric Holder, who was the primary person of interest after rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot six times on Sunday.
Nipsey was just 33 years old when he was fatally shot, and someone who has received immense praise from both fans and his fellow artists. The tragic event sparked social media to share its collective grief with one another, keeping Nipsey and his family in their thoughts and prayers.
Nipsey had recently been working with the LAPD to help educate and solve ways to stop gang violence. Hussle was also working to give back to the community, especially the under privileged youth, trying to bridge the inner-city closer to Silicon Valley.
Nipsey was a great rapper and a better person, and hopefully justice will be served as a result of this horrible event in history. Prayers up to his family, friends, and fans.
This afternoon, the Cleveland Browns officially introduced star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to the team. They held a press conference that featured Beckham alongside quarterback Baker Mayfield, defensive end Myles, and fellow wide out and former LSU teammate Jarvis Landry.
Beckham was introduced by new head coach Freddie Kitchens as he was quoted earlier in the week about being excited for the arrival of the superstar, and he would be wanting to give Beckham a big hug upon his arrival to the team.
The day was mostly just a formality and a chance to let the press ask him some question and give fans the chance to see Beckham rocking his new threads.
One of the highlights came from QB Baker Mayfield when he quipped, “This is the most people we’ve had in this room, ever.”
Beckham, who was traded from the New York Giants a few weeks ago, said that he was both “shocked” and very “emotional” after hearing the news from NY GM Dave Gettleman. He’s already looking ahead to his new chapter with Cleveland, expressing his excitement to be playing with his best friend Jarvis Landry.
One thing is for sure, all eyes will be on Cleveland heading into the 2019 season, something that would’ve been a far cry just two years ago.

The “Free Uzi” movement is picking up more and more steam as the days go on. Two new tracks leaked on Soundcloud today, with one of them already being removed. For now we still have the one posted above titled “That’s A Rack.”
Uzi has been engaged in a contract dispute with his record label, Generation Now. The dispute has led to a massive delay of his sophomore album “Eternal Atake.” Roc Nation has swooped in to support Uzi and have taken him on as a managerial client. The Philly rapper is looking to rework his contract to have a more favorable deal all around.
Anyway, check out this new track from Uzi and let us know what you think. We’ll provide updates if the removed leak gets reposted, but for now enjoy the one linked above.

ScHoolboy Q is set to be the musical guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon tomorrow. The other guests on the show will be actor Armie Hammer, and actor Jemaine Clement. According to the NBC website, ScHoolboy will be performing with The Roots.
No word just yet on what song will be performed though the safe bet would be ScHoolboy’s new single “Numb Numb Juice.” The song dropped late last week and came with a music video that featured Tyler The Creator and Ma$e. The song currently sits at number 27 on the Spotify top 50 chart and has over six million streams.
This performance marks the continued press leading up to his fifth studio album release. There currently isn’t any information out regarding it’s title or release date.
This weekend looks pretty light on the new album front, but there are new singles being dropped left and right by multiple different artists. Anderson .Paak is pumping out new music and has a single being dropped tonight titled “King James” off of his new album “Ventura.”
The new single from the Cali hip-hop star leaked early and was posted to YouTube earlier today. The lyrics from the song covers some topical subject matter, like Colin Kaepernick kneeling for the national anthem, the infamous border wall being built, and obviously LeBron James, highlighting his positive influence amongst the public, specifically the youth.
The leak is not a complete version of the track, it lacks some bits at the beginning and end, but it sounds like a vintage .Paak song. It comes with a funky baseline and vibrant, warm sounding horns, that seem to always place you in California.
Along with the announcement of the new single, .Paak announced via Twitter the album artwork, tracklist, and list of features on the record.
