Kelfromvisions’ music is the perfect combination of hip-hop and melodic R&B phrasing, but he never hesitates to blend elements of alternative, rock, and pop into his music.
Kelfromvisions’ “No Way” brings back a nostalgic SoundCloud aesthetic, with lyrics about high school and his refusal to adapt to society, coupled with a catchy synth melody. Kelfromvisions sings with an emotional tone, expressing his disdain for people in his past that doubted his success and capabilities. In “No Way,” he sings, “I was sleepin through my class teachers yellin in my face/Told em I loved music and I wanted to make it/Said I couldn’t do it I remember what they say/What they say no way.”
