Law Unveils Sensual “Lies” Music Video

Singer reveals enticing visuals for her latest single, “Lies.”

Law shows her listeners a more emotional and soulful side of herself with her latest single, “Lies.” The video, directed by WaveChange, focuses on a variety of sensual shots of Law in a bedroom, as she stares at the camera in her Calvin Klein two-piece underwear set. In different shots, the words “Lies” flash across her shot in shadow lettering.

In between her shots, a stoic figure lays next to her under the sheets in bed, as she continues to sing the lyrics to the ballad R&B song. Along with the dimly lit lighting and few shots of her throughout the bedroom, Law sings directly to the camera as she opens up about her lover – the “liar” asleep under the covers. She sings in a falsetto, “Cuz he speaks fluent liar” and sings about the frequent lies her romantic interest tells.

This single follows up her last song, “Controller,” which narrates the story of a controlling relationship and her ultimate refusal to be controlled. “Lies” continues the narrative of Law’s romantic experiences and her vulnerability in her music and lyrics.

AceMula and GBreezy Call on OnlyJahmez for “Voice of the Suburbs”

Jersey club producer, AceMula, and rapper and producer, GBreezy, collaborate with New Jersey artist, OnlyJahmez for “Voice of the Suburbs.” Together, the trio was able to create a single that is braggadocios, playful, yet explosive. Influenced by Lil Durk’s album title, The Voice of the Heroes, “Voice of the Suburbs” is a tumultuous story of suburb life for the rapper – his relationships, his emotional unavailability, and his music career.

The bass booms underneath the Jersey club beat, with a synth arpeggiating and a light piano riffing throughout the song. As soon as the song begins, OnlyJahmez raps, “I lost my b*tch on purpose/Stressing wasn’t worth it/ I don’t trust nobody/Born and raised in Jersey.” “Voice of the Suburbs” elevates Jersey club to a new level – combining lyricism, tactful production, and high energy to create a memorable track.
